| So I start work at Walgreens today. I have a kinda mixed emotions. On one hand, it is the company that says that they want me to work for them after I graduate. I will just go straight into management as soon as I graduate. I had an internship for the summer but to make a long story short they were taking a long time to get me work and I need money like badly. I won't have to drive a long way to get to work also and the pay is much better and I think that I will like working there. But on the other hand I feel slightly nervous about working there because if I don't do well this summer, then it might hurt me in the future with the company. I'm not really afraid of the performance thing that much but it's still there. I also worry a little because I may end of having to work weird shifts since Walgreens is a 24 hour store. It would suck if I never get the to see Emily even though we are now in the same town. I know it's just first day crap and that I won't always work shifts that are bad and they told me that when I was interviewing for a different position in the company last semester. They said that I would be working all the shifts but still. Anyway, just pray that this just goes well. |
