Well as you may or may not have seen on Dorothy's Blog; She decided to dye her hair the color of her "Favorite Disney Princesses' hair". Well I liked that idea, so I said to myself, "Joel," I said, "What's to stop you from dyeing your hair after your favorite Disney Princess?" Well I came to the conclusion that nothing could stop me. So I dyed it black, for Mulan*..

...Well... no, I HAVE been meaning to do something to my hair. And Diana offered to dye my hair purple, or give it purple streaks, and I would have accepted but it was permanent dye and I didn't really want to be stuck with something I didn't like, it would have been terrible to have to dye back my hair, and even then you can never get your original hair color back until it grows back.

*Technically not a princess, but who really cares?

Ever had one of those days where you never seem to get anything done and it's really irritating and you just want to smash your head against a wall at the end of the day because nothing got done?...

...ever had one of those lives where you never seem to get anything done...?

  • I do realize that the language and wording of this dream is highly irregular, but I didn't know how else to write it. So there will be a bunch of I did this, I did that. Kind of like a Greek autobiography.

This actually happened the night before July 8, or the night of July 7... When I fell asleep it was the 7th when I woke up it was the 8th.. So anyway..

I had a dream last night or this morning or whatever. My parents were on both computers, so I decided to go to "The Farm"* to use that computer. In real life the farm is in Belmont, about twenty minutes away. In the dream I walked down my road and where my road turns off into parade road my road became parade road and I could not turn left because there was no road, just trees. So I went left on parade road which was not paved in the dream There were no other houses, same landscape, just more "nature grown". When I got to the crest of the hill from where you can see over the trees to some other large hills, perhaps mountains, I turned off the road and started down the hill into the woods. After walking a bit I came to the farm house. When I was about twenty feet from the house I noticed on my right a creature that looked either like an aardvark with fur like a skunk, or a skunk that was shaped like an aardvark. Fear it to be a skunk I turned and ran lest it should spray me. I ran away from the creature so it was behind me, and the house was on my right, the way from which I cam on my left.
I looked behind me and saw that the creature was only twenty feet away, I have heard skunks can spray up to thirty feet so I stopped lest I should frighten it to spray, if it really was a skunk. I turned and faced it. I asked it, "Could you tell me what you are?" and it replied wisely saying, "What's to tell? I am a skunk. I can see you are a human. With the face of a nerd."** It turned away and raised it's tail, so I ran once more. I touched my hand to my nose and found my nose was bleeding. After running aways I turned once again to the skunk which had just been staying there, not moving. We were about one hundred feet away from each other. I spoke again saying, "Congradulations on realizing I'm a nerd.**" Then it started to spray but was too far away to get me. Then I woke up.

    *My family's Christmas Tree Farm.
**Not the exact phrasing, but similar.

Yeah, that was my REAL dream that night.. weird, I have found that if you talk to something in a dream. It will almost always talk back, no matter what it is.

  •     Weird, if I haven't posted in a long while I feel like my blog has lost the essence of what it was created to be. I can't really explain it; I think I'm gonna try to continue my blog:

I played football at church yesterday....andlost.... It's a little depressing playing football when you can't catch the ball so you're pretty much only good for a Running Back...which...gets boring. Although, the person who is usually Quarter Back on my team can't throw to me... His throws aren't bad, but I just can't catch them. Might have something to do with it, still my fault for just being a very picky/bad receiver.
