| I wake up everyday and my neck hurts. This is a recent thing, within the past 2 months. I can't figure out why, unless my neck is falling apart. My mattress is old and a bit saggy in the middle. You think that matters? I only use one pillow, and it's not huge one. Other than that...
Maybe cuz my neck is trying to hold up my giant head all day.. that might be it.
Set your phasers to kill.
UPDATE I went and bought a more firm/new pillow. I read that firmer pillows are better for back and side sleepers, which I am. I'll let you know how it goes. A new matress might be in order as well, but that's a bit more expensive.
There are people in the world that would love to have my crappy pillow, and crappy mattress... and I complain about needing a new one. Aye...

| Friday's is going well so far. I'm picking it up pretty quick. I'm still rusty on my menu knowledge and knowing the answers to the billions of questions, but it'll come. I'm also starting to warm up to folks. That's always awkward being the new guy. I try to help out and laugh alot. Makes it easier to blend in I guess.
Also... the music they play there is just about, probably 85-90 percent spot on, on my music preference. It's awesome in fact. And it isn't just new stuff. There is alot of older late 90's stuff I used to listen too. Pretty sweet. I might as well have handed them my cd binder.
Petland will be done soon. Well, that's not true.. I think I'm going to work maybe 1 or 2 days a week there, to help them out and myself with money.
How do you make adventure in the money driven/success oriented societal system we live in? See how much money I can make so that I can conquer my bills?! Lame.. I want to slay dragons with a sweet sword.

| So... we did it. Got a member of the cousinry all moved up to CO. It really is pretty nice up there. Mountains are cool as part of a skyline, rather than say.. lot's of fields of nothing and flatness (ie Kansas, although.. there were some giant windmill forests, which was pretty cool. Those things are absolutely giant. I was thinking around the size of a two story building... in actuality, try some kind of skyscraper.)
^ That was a big parenthesis (sp?).
Some quick highlights to the trip...
1. It was definitely a "help someone move" as opposed to a "vacational" type experience. 2. The thin air is definitely real. 1 box + 3 flights of stairs + high elevation = winded and heart racing. 3. Kansas is lame. It is also a black hole. It also goes on forever. It also has random bad smells. 4. You can't really make Oklahoma, Oklacool, no matter how you try. It's slightly prettier than north Texas though. 5. If your in the DFW, the quickest way out of Texas in an emergency is to go north. Within a few hours in fact. 6. We flew back on a plane. I sat next to an Indian couple with a baby. The baby was crying the first half. It was annoying, but they were trying everything they could. I small talked with the dad, and helped out by holding little baby books that the kid kept giving me to hold.
7. I don't fly often on planes. I kept thinking Lost. I'm not afraid though. That sounds fun. 8. Back to work this morning was painful. I just slept for 5 more hours though. Not quite back to full. 9. I'm glad for my cousin and his wife. It'll suck not having them around, but there are many many good sides for them. 10. In Kansas, they have 5 christian stations, 1 Tejano (sp?), 1 classic rock, and the rest are country. (radio) 11. I will never drive for 19 hours straight again in my life, if i can help it. 12. It trips me out being somewhere new. I need to get out more. 13. You thought I'd end on an odd. 14. Not a chance.

| Well.. I paid myself for a 13.00 haircut today, but somehow I seem to have lost that 13.00 dollars.
I went to G reat Clips to get my haircut, which I usually do. It's pretty cheap, and they are right near my house. The chick totally butchered my hair. I think anyway. So, I came home and took care of the rest.
I just started training at Fri days. It's going pretty well, i'd say. Lot's of corporate handbooks and crap, which is totally annoying. But.. hopefully, I will be on my way to makin some phat loots.
I'm driving to Colorado with Jeremy tomorrow in the Uhaul. There will be both elements of fun and non-fun involved. I plan to take my camera and try and get a video blog, and also trip pictures. I'm trying to look at this as more of a vacation, than a "helping someone move" trip. Interesting it ought to be.
Guess that's all I got.

| There was a quart of milk in the fridge. Unopened. May 16th was the expiration date...
I popped open the top.
It smelled just fine.
I tasted it.
It did NOT taste just fine.
I emptied the quart of milk. 80 percent of it poured out. The rest stuck to the side of the jug.
