May you rest in peace. As the doors of Heaven awaits your entrance with Angels guiding your way as you go to your eternal resting place.

For a week leading up to the above time and date, I don't think any of us had a full night of rest. The hours leading up to 6:15am, was the most heartbreaking. Words can never fully describe the inconsistency in what we felt at heart. As much as we don't want to let you go, we understand that you no longer will be in pain and your suffering has ended. You've fought a brave battle and won. We are so proud of you. There is nothing for you to worry about, as we will continue to remember what you have taught us, take care of Grandma, and provide love and support for each other.

I will never forget those few precious days I had to be by your side. To spend time with you - watch you rest, and try to keep you company without draining your energy. That day when we have prayed with you, expressing our gratitute and love for you. Until that night, when we all joined by your bedside, holding you, keeping you company for the last path taken in mortal life. Watching you breathe, the movement of your chest as you exhale, anticipating the next time you inhale. Witnessing, as you slowly prepare for your journey into Eternity. I feared, as your breath slowed, scared that it would be the last breath that you would be taking. Feeling the warmth of your hand slip away. As the coldness of the room sinked in, our tears calmed as we learn to slowly let you go, provide you with strength and support let the Angels lead you back to your eternal Home.

Watching you take that last breath, as you gently and ever so carefully close your lips and bring a smile on your face, and closed your eyes forever. Still we held on to you, as we watch the very last vital signs slip by. Tears fell from our eyes - filled with sadness as we know that we will forever miss you, yet grateful that you are no longer in pain and your suffering has been replaced with the joy that awaits you in Heaven.

Grandpa,

You will forever be in our hearts.

Looking forward to the day when we will meet again for enternity in Heaven.

It has been awhile hasn't it?

Life has been busy, interviewing for a new job, "preparation" for my HK trip, getting reacquainted with old friends, acquainted with new ones.

Yes, I finally took the leap to dive into the real world. I do feel a bit apprehensive about this whole jump, but it is time. Regardless of what they may offer me, it is time bid farewell and move on.

As of late, I do feel quite adored. Loving this feeling by the moment, living for the present, and looking into the future without regrets. Sometimes that is all that you can do. Life takes us by surprise, and this is definitely one of them. Never did I expect life to take me to where I am now. For the longest time, this is where I dreaded to be, because I have seen the other side of the pasture. Somehow, I found temptation to be too sweet, perhaps one day becoming bittersweet, yet I cannot resist but to indulge myself in the tasting of this. It is too late for me to turn around and simply walk away.

When that day approaches, I will then let the bitter aftertaste engulf me, and smile as I embrace the fullness of it.

A lightbulb went out in a room at home the other night...

then I came to the realization that..

I had never, changed a lightblub in my Life...

how odd, because I know how to change one for sure..
