XANGA IS BACK!!! time for deep thougths with Lia Bia...

So... the other day I renewed my subscription to Runner's World via snail-mail. It had this nice little enticement that noted, "YOU WILL RECIEVE A GIFT IF YOU RENEW NOW!". So, naturally, I did. When I received my gift (which wasn't even the gift promised in the promotion, mind you...), it had a queer title that has provoked todays deep thoughts... here is what the package read...

"Here is your FREE GIFT!!!"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all gifts free?If the gift wasn't free, then it's not a gift!  I'm just saying... it is a not-so-beautiful let down to be reassured that my gift that I was just given is, in fact, free. If I was a 5th grader, I would write a letter to Runner's World that had the three letters D-U-H in bold Times New Roman, font size 72. (and maybe even draw a hand in the shape of an L for loser underneath the "duh"). 

Moral of the story: don't give free gifts... just keep them to yourselves.
