Hi guys! Life is busy but good! My poor hubby's been working a ton lately. Some weeks it's over 50 hours, which when you have 7 little ones at home wanting their Daddy, it can be rough! Oh, and a Mommy who wants adult conversation! Hopefully this is only for a short season!

The kids are doing great, doing their schoolwork as I type this out. I am so amazed and impressed with what little sponges my kids are! They're learning and retaining so much, it's awesome! Reilly is reading so well, it's crazy! He reads everything from books to billboards to words on TV, etc... London is a whiz at math and will often ask me to do more math later on in the day if he's bored! His reading it's perfect for his age, which is a relief since he had a bit of a rough start. Gavin is doing great with sounding things out and trying to read small words. His handwriting is good, too. Micah is writing his alphabet and numbers really well. He knows what sound each letter makes. He enjoys doing school with the older boys so much! Lily is practicing her coloring and not trying to eat the crayons, so far, so good! She also LOVES to read books, which is neat! We're also going potty at least 3 times a day. Hopefully by the time she's 2 and a half she'll be ready for undies!

Christian is getting SO big! He's going to be 4 months on the 26th of this month! It's crazy how fast all this is going by! I'm trying so hard to treasure and cherish every moment with him. He is the sweetest, happiest baby I've ever had. I barely look at him and he's all smiles and cooing, it's absolutely adorable! When I'm talking to the other kids or on the phone and I'm holding Christian, he laughs and smiles thinking I'm talking to him! He is such a sweet blessing to our family. All the kids adore him. They love playing with him and making him laugh. You can tell that Christian loves all his big brothers and sister, he finds them so entertaining! All the older kids are so helpful with him. They fetch me his burp rags, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, etc... If he happens to be crying they'll put his "plug" in his mouth or sing to him or try to make him smile. Or they come and get me saying that Christian needs me or he might be hungry. It is nice that they also know when he needs to nap or be left alone to play. I'm really and truly blessed with such great kids, God is so good!

Guess that's about it for now. I must get started with the rest of my day! Laundry, dishes, & kiddos, oh my!

Today's Lily's birthday! She's a big 2yr. old now!

We started the day off with all the boys singing her happy birthday to wake her up, she grinned the whole time!

Then we had blueberry muffins with pink sprinkles on top, bacon, and apples for breakfast. Then she poo’d in the potty  Then she got in her super cute bday outfit, a Gymboree hand-me-down, it’s a sweater with cupcakes on the front, it’s so super cute!

Then she colored in her princess coloring book while sitting in her high-chair.

 Now she’s watching Dora till lunchtime, which will be Mac N’ Cheese & fig newtons, followed by vanilla/strawberry ice cream cones!

Then tonight we’ll go to Denny’s for the kid’s eat free. A treat for us all, yay for no cooking! Hee-hee! Ejoy your day!
