  • The REAL way to read Fortune Cookies...

My aunt Mary-Jean taught me how to do this. Just add "In bed" to the end of the fortune. Here are some examples from last night

-Don't let statistics do a number on you...in bed!
-Don't expect to find one right way to make yourself more creative...in bed!
-Hallelujah! In bed! (The fortune cookie seriously only says "Hallelujah!" hahahaha)
    -Express yourself now...in bed!
-Good company in a journey makes it seem shorter...in bed!
    -Happiness measures a person's real worth...in bed!

  • I try not to be too religious when I talk about my posts, but I'm sorry. These are just two incredibly moving songs for me personally that we sang during worship at Triennium.

  • Hope

First off, I only realized after I had said that I was going to put pictures up, that I wasn't using a digital camera (Oops?), sorry everyone. I'll have them scanned ASAP.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Looking back at every single picture of me from this past week shows that I never can just have a serious face, or a "normal" smiling face. I have to either be goofy, idiotic, or just plain weird. But that describes me, you know? The kid that gives you a complete sensory overload when you meet him, but that you grow to know and love. But when I make stupid faces, or goof around, I'm trying to show how much I'm hurt deep down inside. How much I need each and every one of you in my life for as long as possible. It shows me how desperately I need your guidance and support. I've come to accept that whenever I make a "silly" face in a photo, I can't be more serious. I'm crying out to you, for you, so that I will be saved. I need all that you're willing to give to keep me going. I need every last drop of strength that you'll give me. I need you plain and simple. I'm just trying to show you who and what I am.

This past week at Triennium was about Hope being in our midst. Not about it just being amoung us, but how it is us. We elaborated on the need for the strength and support of everyone else around us to survive in this world. How Hope is NOT Joy, but we can find Joy in the presence of Hope. How the  "color" of Hope would be gray, not a "happy" color like a yellow or a pink; but also not a dark, dreary color.

I learned about life, love, and happiness. And now I'm a new person, body and soul.

  • Ok people, so I'm here at Triennium. To say that it has changed my life is a complete understatement. As soon as I get home, pictures, etc. are coming up

And there's all the cute guys...*cough* Cullin *cough* Right Kellie?

  • Quick update

Tiedying shirts in your bathtub is ever-so-fun [or at least it will be in about an hour lol]. I'll try to get some pics and post them up before I leave tomorrow night (), but I'll also put up some pictures of the little kitties!

  • Xx Fezziwig xX (10:36:38 PM): you make me *sharpie*
"The girl formally know as "Kellie"" (10:37:32 PM): thats right i do
  • I'm tired, both physically and mentally.
I want to sleep till Monday afternoon.

Cause that's when it get's amazing.

I saw Harry Potter premier at midnight the other day (no idea when the fuck it was, my internal clock is on crack), and it was pretty good. Considering the book was kinda long and dreary (besides the "war" on that Umbridge woman), I didn't go into the theater expecting much. I wasn't really disappointed (the Order vs. Death Eater battle was AMAZING!), but they left out some really good parts, and could have done without some.

Anywho, just a heads up, on Monday at 11 p.m. (the 16th) I leave for Purdue, and I won't be back till the 22nd/23rd at midnight. Then I leave the next day at about 6 a.m. for a 2-day drive down to Florida till the 6th of August. So yeah, my Xanga might become a ghost for a bit, no idea if I'll get the chance to update...

But oh well, Air conditioning, Cullin, Craig, and the random Speedoguy from the pool will keep me entertained, eh Kellie?

  • Outrage

    This is an outrage.

    outrage What the hell?!

    Seriously, that pisses me off!

  • The Fool

I carved my name into my hand
    Clung on for dear life.
    Holding.
    Waiting.
    Breathing.

Your voice echoed in my mind,
    Pain in my side (Suicide)

    The sun won't shine
    The ice is cold.
    The wind is bitter,
    And the moon is bold.

    Glittering like a thousand jewels
    Blue-green and Aqua
Flying without wings, breaking all the rules.
    Golden bells, playing the Fool.

    But you are my Fool
    But you were my Fool.
And now there's nothing left of you.

  • My friends are more of my family than any of my relatives could possibly be.

And now my mother has taken that away from me.

I'll never stop hating her. Ever.

  • Responsibility

I can tell everyone reading right now that I am far from responsible. If I'm asked to do something, I'll procrastinate and put it off to the last minute, and then do a half-ass job. It's just how I am. I'm not responsible health-wise with my eating habits and some of my more idiotic tendencies. I can admit all this and still be telling the truth.

It's people like me that end up messing up something in the world, and then try desperately to fix it. :]

But I think that we all need to be more responsible as a whole global community/family type group. Like with the huge concert tomorrow on 7/7/07 that's going to help raise money to combat our failing climate (and yes, it is failing). If we were all more responsible (and considerate) in the first place, would our global issues still be as severe?

"...That's the problem with the world. No one wants to take responsibility for his actions anymore. Adam blames the apple-eating incident on Eve. Eve says the serpent made her do it. The serpent claims that it's God's fault for putting the tree there in the first place. See there? No one wants to take responsibility."

  • At the Movies: Transformers

Ok, so I went to see a 10:10 showing of Transformers a few hours ago. And it was purely amazing. From what I can remember about the Hasbro TV series, it's pretty much dead on Autobot vs. Decepticon wise, except it takes place in present day (contrary to the animated TV series). And because I'm so inclined, here's a little mini-review (and I'll try to keep the spoilers to the minimum ):

    The Previews:

Out of all the previews there at the theater, the best would have to be for The Simpsons Movie. I'm still singing "Spider Pig" right now, and the whole audience was laughing more than I've ever heard during any other preview/movie.

I was surprised not to see a Harry Potter V preview though, but Warner Bros. was probably a bit embarrassed from this fiasco. Seriously Daniel, get a tan. You look like a freaking zombie.

    The Feature Presentation:

This movie easily ranked in my top 5 favorites of all time, doing everything right where most movies fail. First off, one of the key factors to it's success is that it's miniature love story is kept to a minimum. At first, the movie is kind of slow to start off with, action wise, but after about a half hour, when the Autobots and the Decepticons come into play, things quickly catch up. Optimus Prime pretty much filled in the audience on why there were on Earth, and what the hell was going on in the first place, and that was something I havn't seen too often in most action/adventure films. From then on, it was Autobots vs. Decepticons till the end (which was awesome I might add). Secondly, the graphics for this movie were amazing. With a measly $150 million as a budget, Transformers really pulled through, and wowed everyone (including my mother! haha).

    The Credits:

Well, like most movies, there are little scenes hidden throughout, or after the credits. But don't worry, there are only a few small clips in the beginning of them. Once the credits start to scroll up the screen, then you got the green light to leave, cause there's no more little tidbits.

For those of you who want it, here's a negative review for you to read (might as well post both sides of the story), but it is VERY LONG.
