Wow, I feel pretty dumb. Yesterday my PS2 wasn't reading anything so I figured, hey, why not open it up again and set the laser height back (because, yes, the laser height cog tends to change itself and make it not possible to read any games, dvds, etc.) because that's obviously what was wrong with it. So, I do it, and here's the thing: when I opened it up the 1st time, there was a mark in the cog where it is supposed to be set to, but I had stupidly guessed on where to set it and made a mark on the cog w/ a sharpie. Well, I had forgotten about that and I set it to that mark I had made w/ the sharpie and I was like WTF?! (lol ) so then I remembered and I put the laser height back. Interesting, huh? lol. yeah..........
