CHRIS JONES got a job!! woohoo!! but that also means less time for laura... but she is going to go find a job too hopefully soon! so it is all gravy baby!

he is going to play keyboard for sussical at richland in a few weeks.. and miss my cheerleading banquet... poo on him!! anybody out there want to be my date??? just kidding!!

we are going to the west end this weekend with joe and chel to eat and see some improv show.. which should be a BLAST as long as the boys dont leave us beautiful women out of the conversations!! : D

third term starts next week... and he has to take choir, pre-cal, english, bcis and mane attraction... sounds FUN right!??

i dont really know what else to say... so so long... it might be another month or so before he updates again... but i will push for sooner rather than later!!

Hey ya'll...whats up. I've been super busy lately and it will continue until about 10:45pm on December 23rd. After that, no more Scrooge!!  Which is kind of sad, but yet....not so much. I certainly will miss all of the new people i have met while doing the show like Ellie, Lizzie, Sarah, Cody, Michael, Michael, Bert, lil Matt, Sydney( tiny tim), Kristin....and many more...well not too many...only like 3.

Ok...so the show went really well tonight and that was by far the best we have ever done on Skullduggery!! My duet was also pretty good. It was just a good show. At first i was kind of dreading going to the theatre everyday, but i certainly realize that if i want to do this for the rest of my life then i have to get used to it. And i think that hopefully when im on Broadway it will be a different story. I mean come on...its freakin BROADWAY!!

I still don't know where im going to college. Joe wants me to go to SFA with him and some other people but i just don't know if i want to go there. I mean it would be a whole lot of fun rooming with joe and stuff but i just don't think they have what i want. So im still looking at UNT and SHSU (sam houston state). But who knows, i haven't even taken my SAT yet and i only got a 19 on my ACT, which i plan on retaking. But whatever. I guess i will start applying to colleges and see who wants me and who doesn't!!

Haven't given an update on my dad in awhile. He's doing amazing. He's at home now thank God. He is still a little sore just from the surgery and stuff. But he is walking around and eating other things besides liquids. Thats pretty much all there is to say about that. He is having a really quick recovery and he should be up and about in the next couple weeks!!

Ok...im done...i'll try to update a little more..but we'll see what happens...have a wonderful CHRISTMAS break and MERYY CHRISTMAS and happy holidays

So on my away messages they have been saying please pray for my dad...well here's whats wrong...

Thursday night all the family came out to see Scrooge (the play im in). Right before the play started my dad started sweating really bad and was having these really bad chest and abdominal pains. He had been having chest pains for the past week or so but he didn't want to worry my mom so he didn't tell her. So my Uncle told him he should go to the hospital right then, so my mom took him to the ER at Doctors Hospital. They told them that my dad was having chest pains so they put him in a room right away.

They ran some tests on him and figured out it wasn't his heart and that it is in really good shape..which was a huge relief. The dr.'s put him on this bloode thinner stuff that makes it easier for your heart to pummp blood just to be sure it wasn't his heart. So he was going to get to go home on saturday maybe friday. But then he started having more pains that were unbearable and the dr.'s kept giving him morphine because the pains were just too bad. So they ran more test's and they came back negative which is good. But the pains were just too bad.

So finally they ran another test and x-ray and found out his galbladder was the reason for all these pains and they did surgery on him today (tuesday). The did this laser surgery where they cut 4 little holes in his stomach and put a camera down there and look at it all. Then they go in and clip the vains so no bleeding will occur while they cut the galbladder out. So the surgery went fine and he was resting in his room.

Then all of the sudden his blood pressure went way down to 60/24...if any of yall knows what that means. Normal peoples blood pressure is around 100 or so..somewhere in there. So for him to have it at 60 is very very risky. The dr.'s gave him some i.v.'s to try and stablize the blood pressure but they coiuldn't get it stable. So the decided to move him into CCU (crtical care unit) , which is one step below ICU. In the CCU they found out that he has internal bleeding most likely where the galbladder was. Well, all along he was on that blood thinner medicine that he wasn't supposed to be on since there was absolutely nothing wrong with his heart. And you especially aren't supposed to have it since he went into surgery.

So I go in his CCU room around 8:00 i think it was to look at him and he was this really pale yellow. He looked like death. He had i.v's all over him and he was drugged up on all types of medicine's. It was the hardest thing to look at in my life. Not knowing whether or not my own was going to live. And the doctors didn't even really know if he was going to live. But they docrotrs came back out into the waiting room and told us that they might have to go into another surgery to find out where the internal bleeding was coming from. My dad was soo huge like he was pregnant from all the fluids and bleeding. He told my mom that he felt like he was going to pop like a balloon. And to think, he was helpless lying in that bed with this horrible pain.

So around 11:00pm they took my dad into surgery to look at this bledding. Apparently some vein had been clipped while they were removing the galbladder and  it was just oozing out blood and blood thinner. However, when they cut him open the bleeding had stopped. So they cleaned up all the blood and fluids and stuff inside of him. He got out of surgery around 1am or so i guess.

So, right now he is still in the CCU. but they at least got his blood pressure stable and they are going to keep drugged up all night so he doesn't feel any pain. He is on a breathing machine and has this huge i.v. in his jugular vein in his neck. It was soo awful to see my dad like this. But..the dr. said he was doing better and they were going to monitor him over night and today (wensday). So thats whats wrong with my dad. He still needs alot of you guy's prayers...so please pray for him. My family really needs it.

Thanks

Chris Jones
