I want Spring Break back!! Is that too much to ask for? Miami Beach was awesome. It rained the first two days which obviously sucked, but the rest of the week was incredible. Now I am back at school with tons of work to do and a peeling face.

I'll try to update more often, but more likely then not I'll be trying to keep my head above the water with everything I need to get done.

How is it possible that it has been over a week since I made a post? Here I was thinking I had done so well to keep up with things, and now it's over a week since I made a post. I am so incredibly busy that the days fly by. I know people say that "college years are the best times in a person's life" but frankly I'll be amazed if I remember any. The days turn into weeks so quickly. I have February, March, and April and then it's all over. Bittersweet.

I love my sorority. I have wanted to drop out more times than I can remember, but I can not express sincerely enough how much those girls mean to me. Just like in every organization there are moments of frustration, but there are so many more times of joy, friendship, laughter, and incredible memories. I wish everyone could remember how it felt at Sisterhood Retreat when we are all together and we shared our happiness and sorrow and we were together as one family. I love my sisters and I am excited about growing to share that love with many more.

Due to my mom's wonderful encouragement, I am going to try to make a habit of posting here more often. However, I think I will find a new name soon since "Lilmermaid.com" is no longer open. Without the website this username doesn't make sense. That will have to be a decision for another day. Any suggestions?

I am trying to start working out again. The Bahamas trip is in a month and my flabby tummy told me it will not be seen in that pink and yellow polka dot bikini. I can't really argue, the idea of a bikini makes my skin crawl. ::big sigh:: Time for some drastic measures, also known as, the gym.

An authority figure in my life is getting more and more difficult to handle. This situation may force me to go to her superior. Let's hope it doesn't come to that, but it seems to be inevitable at this point.

Look at this, another day and another entry. Maybe I can start enticing people back into reading my xanga. It's a nice way to clear my thoughts so please disregard any rambling.

For as much as I read everyone else's Xanga sites, one would think I would update mine more often. As it turns out, however, I am always busy but not often doing things other people would consider interesting.

I love all but one of my jobs and most of my classes. I tutor Gedney about 25 - 30 hours a week and I adore him. Just yesterday, his dad asked me if I would work with them this summer and also work at his law office. Excited does not even begin to reveal how happy I am. I baysit Ella Margaret 10 hours a week and I love her! I started watching her when she was only 5 weeks old and now she is 6 months! It is crazy how time flies. I am still president of Cougar Productions but I guarentee you if it wasn't for the money, I would quit in an instant. To remain professional, I will not include the details to why this job sucks, but trust me, it does.

I am doing research I am very interested in with two of my professors and one of my friends. We are studying the effect of single gender classrooms for math and science in the middle school setting. It has been a whole semester since they started so the effects should be noticeable at this point.

I am secretary of our Collegiate Middle Level Association and that has been rewarding because I am working with one of my all time favorite professors. She is one of those people who makes you sit back and think, "Wow, how does she do it?!" As always, I am also still involved in Teaching Fellows and Phi Mu.

My classes are okay but I have to admit that I am not devoting the necessary time and energy into making the grades I want. I'm in a little bit of survival mode to keep all my balls juggling in the air.

On a happier note, Becca, my best friend from Spartanburg, came to visit this weekend. We watched movies and vegged out for the entire weekend. We went to Jennings and Sarah's birthday party which was fun. They are two of the nicest girls and I was happy celebrate their birthday with them. I have another birthday dinner tonight for Kat. I haven't seen her much lately so I am excited about catching up. I have class with Sara which helps to keep me sane. She is a fantastic person and I love that we are friends.

Last but not least, Benjamin is incredible. He treats me like a princess and is quite the charming prince himself. We're going to the Bahamas for spring break and I am so excited about some time away. I am working extra hard to save money so I can just relax and enjoy that time.

So that's my life. If I haven't been keeping in the best contact with you... you being whoever is reading this... I'm sorry. Although I am busy, I'm never too busy to spend time with my friends. I love you all.

Got to love how I am so thrilled about Thanksgiving Break so that I can do more work!!!
