| Well....interesting day I had....actually, only about the last half.... Mom and I were driving through downtown Matthews today and I decided I wanted to see if Baucom Park was still around. Back in the day when my cousins and I were little, my great Aunt Joan and great Uncle Paul (whom Paul is named after) would pick us up EVERY Thursday to eat dinner and play. They took us to Baucom Park a lot, and I always loved it because it was a really secluded place that you'd almost never find. That, and because I was always there with my family. Well, Baucom Park was certainly still there....so I went and got on the swing for a while....and I could see myself as a 7 year-old little girl running around with my cousins and playing with Auntie and Uncle. Uncle Paul passed away almost 7 years ago, and sitting in that swing and thinking of him brought to my mind a very simple truth; Life is a vapor. That sounds like a no-brainer...but it never REALLY hit me until today how true that statement is. I've already been living here for 12 years. I've had a whole new set of brothers for over 6 years. I'm a COLLEGE student. Life goes so incredibly fast... For my second revelation of the day....this also is a no-brainer, but ya know how sometimes things hit you at a certain time in a different way than they have before? Well, this was one of those moments for me. I was driving home in the car from band practice and out of the blue I just started crying...because for some reason, a thought came into my head....I AM SO INSIGNIFICANT....I am a NOTHING, and God loves me...and God has blessed me SO MUCH MORE THAN I DESERVE....He loves me SO MUCH MORE THAN I DESERVE...this isn't the first time I've been hit with that truth, and I'm sure it won't be the last time. It is a no-brainer. Every Christian knows that they're unworthy of God's love and forgiveness. I've always known that, but for some reason, and really for no reason at all, I felt that more than ever tonight.... Perhaps that sounds pathetic....two things that are such givens made sense in a totally different way to me today....but if I have to be pathetic for God to speak something new into my life, then so be it. I'm broken. I'm undone. And it's the most amazing thing in the world:0) ~Jesus, Jesus, Thank you for being the lover of my soul Jesus, Jesus, I'll always love you, the lover of my soul~ | | |
| Wow I haven't posted in forever.... ok well here goes... school is done....and graduation is next saturday, the 19th....ill be officially done with highschool forever.... i was accepted into CCHS's pre-nursing for this coming fall:0)...and im doing the CNA program there this summer....ill officially be in scrubs soon:0o paul and ryan will be here in 8 days...hehe. hehe. hehe. daddy and mary are coming down for my graduation so ill see them next week too! yayyy! i just purchased a ticket to see Josh Groban at the bobcat arena this July...I'm on the second row peeps....second row....hehe souled out concert went fabulously! i got to soul it up and it was awesome! janna and i are working on a rather surprising piece for her recital in june...muahaha im getting a car this fall...:0) glory be! ummmm....yes well. life is pretty good right now:0) graduation means family gathering, so that rocks...school is done, so that rocks...i got great tickets, so that rocks...i love paul and ryan, so that rocks...i love daddy and mary, so that rocks.... OH TO TOP IT OFF i got great sale items at target and kohl's yesterday....seriously girlies, kohl's is having like 80% sales literally....go check it out;0) eeechkkk but i saw dream girls last night with janna....i found it to be the most depressing movie....oh well ok well im gonna go now! cheerio! | | |

| Alright people, update time.... Spring break....the best time of my life....not only did I get to spend a week with my amazingly hilarious bestestestest brother Paul, I got to spend a week with the sweetest guy in the world who stole my heart away....BEST WEEK EVER! And we pretty much did nothing....We went to a party, we went to church, we went to chiropractors, volvo dealerships, churches, we played uno, scrabble, and LIFE (in which i was barren but FILTHY RICH), we sang and played instruments, we got coffee, we watched movies, we talked, we laughed.....we basically had a very normal, laid back week....and it was the best ever....I love Paul...I love Ryan...and I'm counting the days till May...53 days till I see them again! Josh Groban....ahhhhh people....I met the man....yes, its true. I met Josh Groban. Best concert EVER, amazing "Groband", Josh rocked, everything was great. Got sweet pictures of the curly haired wonder, got hugs, got autographs....it was one of the best nights of my life. It was wonderful to get to meet my favorite singer/celebrity and one of my favorite people in the world! and i think some of you would be interested to know....HE IS COMING TO CHARLOTTE IN JULY! Dez is getting front row tickets....yea baby! In other news....school is CRAZY busy, but its good for the most part....I got my cap and gown today...its crazy....i cant believe im graduating...I AM THE CLASS OF 07'! Its a very strange feeling....im pumped though! im ready to graduate:0) Work is good....I've adopted two new children to my family; Ben and Natalie. They're precious....usually....and im loving being their nanny friend! So life's good....I'm about to crash now though cause I stayed up till 1:30 this morning writing a paper and then spent all day working on an english project then taught two dance classes aaaaand its a wonderful life! | | |
