Scratch that.

I was going to make sugar cookies with Jade today but I just read you have to let the dough refridgerate overnight. Now I have to distract her for 24 hours so she doesn't remember that I promised her cookies!

Tomorrow, we will make cookies... today we will make dough and maybe icing...

I subbed yesterday as a para. That was very difficult. I worked one-on-one with a student the entire day. She had extreme autism and needed me to be by her constantly. It was like taking care of Jade, but Jade is so much more independant. The fit throwing and temper were the same. It was just draining. Today I am subbing for a science class from 1;15 to 2;47. Then I am done for the day and get to make 50 bucks....

We are going to Bonner on Thursday night, for a wedding this weekend and church...it will be nice to get away.

I gave all my students in 6th block friday school yesterday. They were jerks and I still felt a little bad for doing it, until 7th and 8th block kids came in and said, did you give the entire class Friday school??? And they were all so good for me the rest of the day.

I get paid to pur kids in detention. Nice...

And that, my friends, is why you should go to college.... so you can sub and get paid to give out detentions....

Anybody out there???

So, I was thinking to myself, "Self? What did we do online before there was Facebook?"

And Self replied, "No flippin clue."

Then today I remembered XANGA!!!!

It has taken me 17 min. to try and refigure out how to make a post... craziness... so I don't know if people even see or read these... but I might very well be "back in the game!"

So Xanga fans.... Anybody still out there?

I got a facebook. I like it way better than xanga. Sorry....

This week FLEW by.... this semester has FLOWN by. This whole year has. I have a kid. She is going to be 1!!! ONE!!!! Holy moses! How and when did that happen? And by the way, or, for those of my subscribers who only speak French (There are several of you, I know) A propro.... my kid is soooooooooo cool/cute/amazing/fabulous/awesome/fun/funny/messy/sometimes really stinky/ the BEST KID EVER! Can there be a kid better than mine? I submit there can not.

School is over for a month but then I am taking 17 poopy hours of school in the spring so I can start my student teaching phase 1 next year. There is still no light at the end of my tunnel... but christmas is coming (and the goose is getting fat), so life is ok... I am almost done shopping for everyone and made all my fudge and truffles today. All I have left is to wrap what Chad and I buy tonight... yippeeee. I am headed to Bonner on Wednesday. Katie trent is getting married and we're having a girls night out/ bachlorette party... yippeeeee!!!!

We're ready for Christmas!

Ummmm... So I am a bit of an over-achiever this year. I already have all of my family's gifts and most of Chad's family's gifts, I have all but one of my friend's gifts and they are all wrapped in pretty christmas paper! Our lights are up on our deck and we're just waiting for that stinking living room to be done to get a tree... I bought a stocking for Jade and her first ornament. MAN! I am good... I decided her face looks like mashed potatos when she smiles... all that lumpy goodness...hmmmmm....
