So..its been a while, I know. I think part of my lack up xanga updates is bc of facebook and the fact that I'm so busy I'm never home anymore. Last week was thanksgiving break, so I was in memphis for a few days then back to AR. I decorated my apt for christmas  I just love christmas time..the music and all the decorations, it just makes me happy!! School...well lets just say I'll be very happy when this semester is over. Things are just pretty busy around here..good days and bad days and thats pretty much it.

Well Ive got tons to be doing other than this...so hope everyone has a good rest of the week. Thank goodness its hump day!!

What a weekend..and what a week this last week has been!! Last week was prob one of the craziest weeks of the whole semester!! and this week is prob gonna be the same. Pledge week started tonight, its gonna be a fun week..just busy! We've got lots a great new girls in shantih and I'm excited to get to know all of them. This weekend has been soo much fun..so today was my bday, the big 21..and lets just say this was not how I thought I would be spending my 21st bday but its been a blast!! Fri night pizza at charlies then a movie w/ the girls. Sat morning I was woken up by the flower delivery girl who brought me 21 of my fav pink lipstick roses  so my parents ended up coming to searcy and planned this wonderful suprise schavenger hunt for me and all my friends..then we ended up having dinner at Docs and it was sooo much fun!!! Then we had a girls slumber party and stayed up wayy to late, basically the last few days have been a blast and now I'm soo behind on homework and studying which is not the best way to start this week but oh well..

So..its been a while, I know. Most of that is facebooks fault, its kinda addicting when you first start it. First things first, I thought my xanga needed a new look, a nice fall look..and a new picture. How cute is Makayla  she was gonna be a UT cheerleader for halloween, but she doesnt fit in her costume anymore..and she's crawling now, and she can say hi & boo!! aww, i miss her & her mom.

So..school, super busy! I'm ready for a break!! Only 5 weeks left I think..wow, this semester has flown by. Ive got a paper due this week..havent started it and lots of projects that are approaching their due dates, ughh. Club stuff is keeping me busy, I'll be glad when all the pledging stuff is over and the new girls are in. This week is a big week..nba basketball starts!!! yay! I'm kinda sad bc Im prob not gonna be able to go to opening night for the griz, which is wed night..bc Ive got my stupid alg class at asu, which as we all know I really dont need to miss. Homecoming was this weekend..Im not a big football person, but I did enjoy the musical. It was a good weekend, minus the million extra people around searcy.

Well i've been avoiding homework and studying for a while now, so I should start being productive. I'll be better at the updating..maybe

Well this is going to be short and sweet because I'm leaving here in a few minutes for the shantih retreat. I'm so excited about the retreat this weekend, its going to be so much fun!! and just what I need after the last few weeks..hanging out with all my yy sisters!!!

This week..crazy, busy, and longggg, I'm soo glad the weekend is finally here!! The weather the last few days has been beautiful, Im so glad its finally starting to feel like fall outside, it just makes me happy!!  Well Im heading out, hope everyone has a good weekend!!

I'm just letting you know now, this prob isnt going to be my most upbeat post.....I dont know, its just been one of those days. I guess it really hasent been all that terrible for a monday, but its had some not so great moments thats for sure. Searcy is too small..I know, Searcy has never really been my favorite place, I'm more of a big city girl (and not big city memphis) but over the last few years I have tried to embrace living in "the natural state" and honestly it really hasent been all that bad, at times Ive even enjoyed living here...there are some really pretty parts, and some boring farm lands, I love going to the lake, and getting to walk around my gparents farm and just enjoy being outside..yada, yada..well today was just not one of those enjoying AR kinda days. I dont get it, really. How do I go 3 weeks and this not happen, and now in the last 2 weeks its happened 5 times, seriously..and its at the most random times too, ughh. This town just isnt big enough for both of us, so I vote he leaves..so what if he just bought a house, he's been here long enough, its my turn now.

Today, busy day as usual..with classes and such. Softball was cancelled, which was actually a wonderful blessing, bc I had a lot to do today. Shantih mtg tonight..I love those girls, they make me smile  

This weekend..hummm, it was eventful and boring all at the same time. Fri night me, kel and christi ate at charlies (yumm) and came back to my place and watched a movie..fun times, me and kel stayed up late talking..and talking and more talking, but I love talking with kel, and for some reason, I learnd a lot that night and helped to put a few things into perspective. My family came up to the lake, and my parents brought me a washer and dryer on fri, and let me tell you how exciting that is..you dont even know!!!! I ended up just going up to see them sat during the day, and of course it rained all day..so me, mom, and amy spent most of the afternoon at walmart. We didnt really plan on spending hrs there, but it just kinda happened. They are remodeling the walmart in heber, so everyhing is all scattered around and no one knew were anything was so we spent most of the time walking around looking for stuff, none the less it was fun. I got this very interesting book at walmart (its under my currently reading link) and wow..Ive only read the first 2 chapters, but Im already learning a lot..I know, its kinda funny and what not, but Im glad Im reading it. Your welcome to borrow it when Im done..and when Kels done.  So you know about Hurricane Rita..well yeah it decided to visit AR and I think the whole storm system just sat on top of AR and stayed for a while. With that came lots of rain, wind, tornados etc..yep, Im really not a big fan of tornados, too many bad experiences when I was a child. Anyways Im getting out of the shower sat night, and the sirens are going off..and let me remind you I currently live by myself..yeah, not so much fun. So after talking to some people and watching the tv and the sirens are still going off..I decide to go get in my "tornado closet" aka the closet under the stairs. And I'm glad I did bc when I talked to my dad today he was telling me about when they drove home last night they saw a church and some houses about 6 miles away from my apt that had been torn down bc of the tornado..so, yes..I will always listen to the tornado sirens for now on!!! So finally HU let my friends out of the dorm and they came over and we watched movies...and then later that night the power went out, yay!! Kinda felt like sleeping in Belize without AC..aww, good times. So Sun morning was fun, no shower, putting makeup on by candle light, getting to wear my rain boots and rain coat to church..yes!!!

Well Ive been avoiding hw for a little while now..and I really need to do some more studying, Ive got 2 math test this week..yep 2, both on the same day... and I hate math, ughh. On a happier note, my friend sara is prob gonna have her baby any day now in the next 3 weeks..and Makayla is starting to crawl !!!! But I'm not there to see her . Hope everyone has a good week.
