This, for me, is literally a dream come true. I have always wanted and hoped for a fireplace. Not a propane insert with a "crackle" button on the remote, but a real wood-burning fireplace. I have never had one so I don't know how much work they can be, but this winter when fuel oil is $5.00/gallon, we will all be pitching in to keep the wood box filled. It will be good for the boys and it will be good for me.
And it will be good for Jeremy, since I know what will undoubtedly be coming next...THIS (you know, to hang over the mantle of course)...
