oh my goodness...its been like 2 months since i've written in my xanga.. The last time i wrote was on my bday and then..i've just been soo caught up in college that i haven't even had time to update this.  Things are going soo well here. well....overall, i guess.  Classes are pretty tough here...i guess i'm just not used to the fact that your midterms and finals are basically your overall grade for the class! i mean..c'mon now..in high school, there were your homework grades, your quiz grades, your participation grades.and all the litle things that add up to help boost up your grade...but nuh-uh..not here..your test grades are your final grades..it kinda sucks actually.. but yea..doin alrite in school overall.

Its actually sooo much fun living in the dorms here..go ALDOR..aldomination!! the people here are pretty chill overall and it's soo weird how close you can get to people even when you've only known them for a few months.  honestly..i feel like i've known these people that i live with for years now! its quite an awesome feeling..cuz its like making really close friends...really fast!=)  The food...is actually not bad..yes..i repeat, NOT bad..although, NOT bad food doesn't necessarily mean NOT fatty foods either...hahaha.  yes...i'm sure the weight on the scale did go up a bit...but boy am i workin out at the gym now...well...so i say=) REcently, i've joined the Intramurals for vb here and its sooo funny cuz like yesterday i went to the game and i found out that playoffs have started and that my team is actually undefeated and we're in the championship round already! thas soo cool! my first year of playing and we're atually...GOOD=)!!

overall, college life is amazing, i love how college students are nocturnal and how during the day..its absolutely quite in the dorm, but then once nighttime hits...its like a big party here! Socal is also very very different.  i can't say that i don't like it..but its defintiely a change.  sometimes....ok..most of the times, i wake up like 15 mins before class sstarts and roll outta bed and head to class..literally..roll outta bed and go to class.  sometimes..i don't even brush my teeth..hehe..shhh...its ok..i don' talk in my discussion class so its quite alrite.  but no worries..i DO brush my teeth..hahaha!  Also like the girls down here are really "fake" i guess..well, some are.  They all get like dressed up to go to class and get all their makeup and faancy clothes on..when i go in sweats..i feel a litle outta place when like i'm in my pjs but ehh.....screw it, who cares! haha not tryin to impress anyone..anyways!  sometimes living in socal makes you feel like you have to live up to a certain standard that everyone else is in.  personally..i try to stay away from all the hype about being wealthy or the typical "socal" girl..b/c i honestly think its kinda tiresome to try to keep up to what everyone else is like.  but aside from that, people are really fun down here, theres lots of stuf to do, and lots of pretty beaches and nice weather tooo!

heyy all! college life is soo much funn!! me and my roommate get along soo well and everything is just running smoothly here!  Food is actually...quite GOOD!! well...i'm sure i'll get sick of it really really soon and want to have my regular homemade chinese food again..but i think it should be ok for now.  i have my room all newly decorated and my roommate too! haha our rooms are sooooo girly!! boy..i love being able to stay out and hang out and not have to worry about driving home or what not..its like..right next door! lol  AND you get to have meals and do everything with your friends..haha..oh boy..i better start thinkin back to school and not all about fun and hangin out! lol.

well..lets see...today, we have Battle of the Clusters and our hall is paired up with 3 other dorms and we do like relay stuff and all that.  the theme of our hall is Interpersonal relationships..IR!!  our hall is soo much fun!  Then tommorw, we might head off to the beach and then at nighttime, they have a Foam Dance party! we shall see how that goes..never realy danced in foam before..but it'll be fun watching people.  as of now....i havne't taken any pics yet....gasp..i konw i know...for you ppl that know me..i do take a lot! ok.well, i'll post more next entry of my pics and stuff...gotta go now to lunch!! byee!!

HEYYY ALL! i am finallllyy at irvine...well....at a nearby hotel(marriott) near irvine..haha.  man..stayed up last nite til 5am packing....and i finanlly got it all done! but..i think i overpacked a bit, so i think my parents are gonna take some stuff back when they leave. 

woke up bright and early this morning and headed out..man..i already miss my bed.  i did say my last goodbyes to my bed....man..it'll be 2 months until i'll get to sleep on that again.. hm..what else did i say goodbye to....my drumset..., my pilates tapes...heyyyy, i actually liked those! don't laugh at me! hmph! AND they are NOT for old white ppl either!!...i also miss my other cd's that i didn't bring.....and my tv....OH WAIT.. I BROUGHT MY TV!! muahahha..my dad coudln't convince me to leave my tv back home and leave it all alone....in my room..so of course, i had to put it to good use here..

it was really sad having to say goodbye to my aunties and grandparenst.  i'm really really close to them and i have dinner everyday with them...so i've grown accustomed to seeing them probably the same amount as my parenst..if not more.  plus..they spoil me.  so yea....you know...lots of tears and crying this morning... anyways, we finally headed out and i slept pretty much most of the way in the LONG 7 hr car ride... man! it was long! it was soo funny cuz i kept trying to find the Christian station in each different city we passed by but it was soo hard to find it cuz there wree sooo many spanish stations out there and everytime we would think its a christian station...it turned out not to be..  haha, it was soo funny cuz we were talking about BART and dude!  my dad said that bart stood for Bay Area Rapid Transit.  And he said if LA had a bart..it would be..LART and if Florida had a bart..it would be FART! hahahahahah..ok..sorry...little random things i laugh at...GET USED TO IT!

so..as of now, i'm sittin here eatin Albertsons Rotisserie chicken..which is SUPER good and watching 20/20..ah..i love that show, and chillin with my family in the hotel room.  i will be moving in tommorw(sat) morning and it shallll be fun! well...hope you all are doin super well and i'll try to keep you posted about how things are goin at irvine!
