| Woot, xanga....Man, it's closing in on a year since I last wrote on this thing......admitedly myspace is more entertaining cause everyone is on there all the time you can't help but revisit the fond memories that were produced by xanga. So for all of you who boycott myspace and want info on Llymbo stuff I'll let you know what is going down.
1. Yes, we are still a band, we did not break up....just due to a guitarist change bwtween the months september and december of last year it has taken us a while to get back up and running again.
2. Our comeback show is on April 13th with Beyond Leviathan, Don't Wake Aislin, and Sealed by Blood! (Friday the 13th) at Dallas Christian College. (At the intersection of I635 and I35 between forest and valley view lane.) Here's the address to mapquest it:
2700 Christian Parkway
Dallas, Texas 75234-7299
3. April 27th we're playing at the Door in Dallas on the main stage....we go on at 8:35.....you definitely need to come, we're hoping for 50 people at least......attendance is crucial at this show. 3. The next show after that is May 4th at Fat Daddy's Sound shack and we need at least 50 people there so please come.
4. We will be finally hitting the studio after may 4th to do some preproduction for our full-length album and record a 4 song demo most-likely.
So there ya go.....if you are still on xanga and actually read this let me know this was good for something haha....anywho laters.

| JULY 8TH, GYPSY BALLROOM, BE THERE AND VOTE FOR LLYMBO TO GET US TO EUROPE.
| | |
| JUNE 2ND, CURTAIN CLUB, BE THERE! VOTE LLYMBO 2006!
| | |
| Hmmmmmmmm...............yeah.........nobody really every read these
much anymore..........but since I just woke up from recovering from
prom, I thought, why not. Prom was fun........in many way I'm glad it's
over do to my hellish experiences getting to this point. But alas it is
over and I'm glad I went. Yeah so Llymbo is playing alot o' shows
coming up. The most we've had in a long time. Here they are.
May 5th - Cornerstone Church in Mckinney with Rustik, In Fair Verona, and Realm of Refuge. These
are alot o' bands we have never played with so it should be a good
show. Rustik is amazing so at least come and see them if not us. We
play early at like 7:30, the show starts at 7. So come check out the
first badn at 7 then come and see our crazy light show we got rigged up.
May 12th - We are Headlining the Door in Dallas Theater Stage.
It's our first time to play at the Door in Dallas so yes we have ta
play the theater stage ='( but we're headlining =^D so that makes it
purdy cool. And my going buddies in Last Tuesday are going to be
playing next door on the main stage. So check them out yo if not us.
But when you come in at the door, say you came to see us.=^) We'll also
bring our cool light show, and play a longer than usually set. You'll
be sure to hear some old school Llymbo that hasn't been played live in
a while. So those of yous guyses who have been with Llymbo since the
beginning may enjoy this show.
May 27th - we are playing at Interaction Entertainment in Allen.
I am told they are in dire need of selling out this show. So if you
live in Collin County, even if you don't, you better be at this show.
Or we'll hunt you down yo. We'll be playing later in the line up as
usual.
Then of Course JUNE 2ND EMERGENZA COMPETITON!!!!!!!! This is the big
one guys. If you are over 17 and don't come to anyother Llymbo show in
your life, come to this one. We need some mad support and all the prior
shows we have scheduled are scheduled for the sole purpose to promote
and sell tickets to this one show. So come!!!!!!!!!
We are also really working on our tone in Llymbo to give us a better
sound live. I'm getting and Ampeg 15 SVT Cab to add to my 4X10 as well
as a Sonic Maximizer pedal to cut the mix so my Bass will equal
thunder. And in the words of John Cooper: "If the bass doesn't sound like thunder, there is no need to record it." great words to live by. lol. But it's so true. We're also working stuff out to help Sam's tone by getting a
Radial Tonebone JX2 Switchbone AB/Y Pedal
To help him use both his 5150II and my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier
live. And maybe slap on some minimal reverb to tightenup his sound, and
make it sound more full. I've found with one guitarist this technique
is essencial. Blindside uses it, that's why they sound so good live
with one guitarist yo. Anywho.........needless to say Llymbo has
greatly improved and our live show will now reflect our improvement. I
can't wait for you guys to hear it!!!!! Laters........
