|  This is my teacher Haji doing her Sword Dance last Friday Nite.
I have the filming of some Belly Dancing to the Sickness. It was downloaded off the Camara into the Computer then transfered on to a regular CD-R.
My Question is can It be formated straight off the CD-R burned to play on a DVD player.
The CD-R is breaking up to much when playing on real player or windows media not sure why?
Any Ideas?
I'll have to take It to a computer nerd store if I can't figure it out soon....They got them kinda stores...right? I also got to thinking it could be just be my computer? hummm .... my Belly Dancing teacher dancing to the Sickness on this CD you have to see it...it's SIC ! just like the song. I came across it while she was putting some actual belly danceing music together for me. I just happened to see SICKNESS written across this regular CD. I ask her "Sickness? Whats this? from Disturbed? " she says "yeah I think so? It's me just messin around one night in the basement". Well of course I begged her to let me see it since i'm such a fan of Disturbed's. I want you guys to see it. Like I said it is SO SIC. Funny thing is she has no idea who Disturbed is she has never seen them in concert or has any of their albums....except for last night when I got to dance she comes out with this new sickness cd to show me she had just bought and says " Do you have this one? " it was so cute I just smiled and said yes, I have everything they've put out lol.... it's GREAT ! I think we have another ONE that's DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS !! .... and yeah It's awsome Belly Danceing to rock but it's not what you might have an image of what belly dancing is, American Tribal Belly Dancing is alot more Agressive in expression then others so it works. And actually Disturbed has quite a few songs that work well with this type of dancing I love it I hope to do alot of my danceing to rock and just maybe I can get my teacher to perform this disturbed one at some of the Belly Dancing Festivals I've never seen it done and I'm sure it will be Taboo for the Traditional dancers  . But since My teacher is already perfect at her belly danceing moves she will be able to execute the dance so no one can condemn it as not being belly dancing. Just an Idea i'm hoping she will go for it. havn't asked her yet... When I figure this shit out. I'll be sure to post it so you can see it .

|   Decided to design my own costume for dance. My inspiration comes from a gift that was purchased for me at one of my very first Bellydancers Festival in Seattle Washington a few years back. It was jewelry a headpiece, braclet, and anklet made of a sage color jade stone and tiny brass bells ..... very beautiful. Just havn't had the right outfit to wear it with. I don't usually make costumes but while i was out looking at silk chiffon fabric for a veil i came across some really dope material that would be perfect with this sage jade jewelry i need to be wearing.
Out of respect for the dancer that bought me the jewlery, she is a Traditional Tribal Belly Dancer. This first costume I've designed is a little more conservative then some of my other ideas i have locked up Inside this head of mine  My next design i think will be made of black chiffon, black lace, and light pink beading , rope and tassels. Dosen't that sound sic !! a little on the goth side i'm thinkin..... hummmm

I finally set-up my playstation . Woo Hoo!! now I have a DVD player, bet you didn't know I was so ghetto did ya? .....  . I finally got to sit down and really check-out the whole DVD that came with the Stainds " 14 shades of gray ". If you havn't seen it or don't have it you need to get it. It is a CRACK up plus it has excellent footage of Staind In the earlier days doing all kinds of shit. What i like most was all the live footage of their earlier shows back In the day. BE sure to check Out Aaron and the boys! Especially when they were getting interviewed In the other countries, check out Aaron's face ..... lol it's so classical Aaron , you can't help but laugh. Think I will go get lost in some old school Neneh Cherry "Raw like Sushi" reading some of these Blogs on this site will do that to you. Later .... Lolita | | |
