Today is THIS DAY!!  A day when over 500 women around the world are journaling everything in the course of a day.  How cool is that?  They actually pick from those women and make a book, and this is book two I believe.  I wonder if I'll make in there

3 more days til Scotland - can I have a WOOHOO?!?  Its going to be a LONG drive - like 12 hours!!  ARGH!   We'll get the DVD going for the kids during the time they are awake - I think we are trying to leave at 2am so we can get there between 2-4pm, I'm sure we'll have a few stops along the way!  I dont mind the drive up its the drive home I hate - the whole way I'll be chanting - I just wanna be home I just wanna be home  LOL  I have a feeling we'll wind up stopping maybe in Edinburgh though and try to find a cheap place... we'll play it by ear    I'm really excited though - I have the trip mapped out and everywhere we want to go - Gretna Green to see the BlackSmith's, Stirling to see the Robert the Bruce Monument/Museum, Castle Dunnatar, Castle Eileen Dolan, Dolphin hunting on the Moray Firth, Lock Ness, I'm just so excited!  I ordered a lens or my camera so I'm really hoping that comes in so I can play with it on vacation    Either way I'll have tons of pics to show everyone - come on friday!!

My little sister added me to her blog   I'm gonna be famous!  Now I really gotta make entries!  LOL  Have I ever told you all what a wonderful sister I have?  It's one of those friendships that we dont have to talk or email everyday - or say sappy things, we just know one another is there, knowing we have each other when we need the other.  I love having a close family, and I guess we have to thank Mom for that!  It all comes down to Mom, who is just about the BEST mom anyone could ever have (except if you step on the back of her flipflop - YIKES)

<<insert whisper here>> dont tell them, im sucking up - they are getting ready to buy/send my birthday presents!)<<end whisper>>

Took the kids to see Shrek2 this weekend - it was as hilarious as everyone said!  Needless to say we really enjoyed it (even if the theatre was packed and we had to stand for the National Anthem - for $3.25 adult and $1.25 child - I'm not complaining!)   I also bought 50 First Dates and we watched that last night - I tell you what the movie was as funny as the bloopers!  LOL  I dont remember laughing so hard or so much in a movie - it was great!!

Kids are enjoying their time off school - and that first day of chores hasn't made it to day two yet  LOL  Kevin has helped do some laundry - he LIKES it - I gave him a hi-5 and a "More Power To Ya Baby!"  Dont get me wrong,  dont mind doing laundry at all, I love it when it gets all done - it's putting it away that seems to be the problem for me - AND Kevin    Like mother like son!   I'm still working on his attitude right now.  Kev's a great kid, but he's at that pre-teen stage where everything that comes out of his mouth is negative or with a tude.  Now most of that is to or about our neighbor Christina - his 'EX'.  They've been an item twice now and after the second bout I told them both thats enough and they weren't allowed to be boyfriend and girlfriend anymore, just friends.  She's absolutely in love with Kevin, totally and completely and wacko-like.  Dont get me wrong she's a great girl but she has some emotional problems.  Kevin broke up with her twice and I told him he just can't put him Mom through that ordeal again  LOL  Christina  takes it hard and I just feel bad for her (until she gets psycho-like)   Christina is friends with my daughter Kerigan - so now not only do I have to deal with Kevin making nasty comments whenever she is around, but I have Kerigan being the 'follower' and starting to act like Christina.  So now my 8 yr old daughter is starting in on the pre-teen attitude as well.  It's enough to give me wrinkles - I've already hit the 'Wash that Grey right outta my hair' stage!  I should buy stock in Feria
