Hello again...well like I was saying earlier my birthday weekend was great. Raven came down to visit me and she said she had a great time. She said she actually felt like she was on a retreat! I'm just truly blessed to have the people that I do have in my life and just watching God move is amazing. I can't believe people think this walk is boring. Well..yes I can..cause I used to think so. Anywhoo..watching Raven grow is a blessing especially..seeing her go from depending on a guy to make her happy to loving being single and just thirsting more for the Lord is so awesome. I think she has begun to see even more that nothing else matters in this world..not material things, not a revolving world around a guy, not the things of this world but true salvation and being ready when he comes because that guy can not get you into Heaven.

 It is great to know that she is waiting on the Lord to bring her a mate. I mean who better to bring you someone than the Creator himself! He knows you're taste and what you need..and I am so grateful that she has allowed God to reveal himself to her in that area. Rob and I had this real cool convo about the end times and Pastor Dale even preached on it this Sunday in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I can't even begin to tell you how anointed the message was and the correlations between the decisions we make as a people and all the things that are documented. It is all so deep and people just don't know. I just want to tell the Lord how blessed I am to have the church home that I have and to know the truth. Something supernatural happened to me earlier this week while I was writing a letter to my father and I won't go into much here, but I am expecting GREAT things. I'm trying out a new flat iron on my hair...cause..whew..it was looking real bogus today. I got it from my Indian friend Anna. I'm like "are you sure this is going to work on my hair"...lol. However, it is a one hundred and something dollar iron, so it better do somethin. I'll be meeting with Beth about the worship team on Thursday..should be exciting. Wish I could put a pic on here...

Whoo! I just saw some people that were drunk, dancing around, yelling at the top of their lungs, were sweaty and playing some bangin' music. This was all in the spirit of the Lord of course. Oh it was awesome..we had a good Word tonight and you could see people getting set free!! Everyone was dancing in the aisles, dudes were basically footworkin' and we just had a good ol' time. You can't tell me Christians don't know how to party!!! I love the fact that we do have so many young people in our church and many of them wanna be saved...FOR REAL!! I mean it was a real party tonight. He brought up a lot of good points, such as asking the question..why is it so hard to get the saints together and how many people want to recite the scripture on how when 2 or 3 people come together and agree in prayer that He will be in the mist of them. He was saying how God will be trying to do something spiritual, but he can't because saints are hating, envying, bringing a spirit of division or having attitudes with one another and He can't be in the mist of respectable persons (only wanting to be around certain folk).

There are so many reasons why we need have one another's back...not only does it show the unsaved and unbelievers who Jesus is but it further grows the kingdom. Imagine with all the hating and envying and so forth..how we are misrepresenting the gospel. There were countless other things he spoke on and that wasn't even the topic for tonight..lol. Anywhoo...Rob and Raven finally wrote in their xanga's??..and thank you Cindy for that encouraging word..it really meant a lot to me. Hey...when we all goin' out...
