Today, Saturday, I'm working on a new look for the RC website.  Much fun.

Tomorrow, Sunday, one of our commercials will air during the SuperBowl on the local market.  Looking forward to the feedback from that.  Much fun.

I've got to finish up the live tracks to a few more songs today, too.  Much fun.

Which is to say, I'm having much fun.

Writing a new song called "Forever."  The chorus is, "He is good and His love endures forever."  All over in the scriptures, especially in the Psalms.

Interesting that humans get mad at God.  I've been mad at God.  Is it ever warranted?  I tend to believe so when I'm under the circumstance.  But 10 times out of 10 (that's batting 100% for those of you keeping score at home), when I'm out from under the circumstance, I find myself humbly asking God to forgive me for pridefully thinking I had it all figured out and He was doing something wrong.

Heh heh.  Silly human.

He is GOOD... forever.

Went to England for three weeks over the holidays.  That was the trip of my life.  The best time I've ever had... ever.

I don't know what it is, but the concept of walking in a building that was started in the 4th or 5th century is WOW to me.  I dunno.  Its probably silly, but I can just imagine the descendents of the descendents of the disciples walking around those parts.  Spreading the Word.  Giving their lives to build the Kingdom.   And cathedrals.  I mean, SLAMMIN' cathedrals.

Cool stuff.

And... I'm glad to be back.

It has been another good week.  I had a job interview on Monday... have not yet heard back whether I got the job or not.  The company was pursuing me, which is in my favor.  As Tom Petty put it, though, "The waiting is the hardest part."

I'm going to do some reflection time today to look at the shtuff I'm currently involved with and revisit priorities.  I do this prolly once every 3-6 months.  Its just a practice of mine... not sure how many other folks do this.  I just don't want to lose / waste time on a venture that is not God's will or important or healthy.  You know, stuff that doesn't line up with my values.

I feel really good about almost all of my current involvements, though.  At first glance I don't recognize anything that is a waste of time or not important to fulfill God's purpose in my life and my family's best interest.  It may be the first time I've not had to overhaul my schedule and list of priorities.  That would mean I'm on track.  That would mean I would vote for me to stay in office of governing over me, cause I'm doing a decent job.  My approval rating for myself is in the 80 percentile.  Not bad.

In the midst of my 1.67 billion ideas annually, I woke this morning with an idea I think is very much worth pursuing.  I believe its a God idea.  I'm excited to explore it and create some initial groundwork, like the vision, mission, goals, etc.  If I get past those stages, I'll be sure to post more details in here.

Tsall good.

Until my next post, PEACE!

The next year is going to be interesting in our world.  Of course there have always been interesting years.  But it seems like there is a lot going on all at once, and there are changes happening to the roster of major players.

Arrafat is likely to pass away, if he hasn't already.  Hussein is out of the limelight, hopefully forever.  His sons are obviously no longer a threat.  Though Bush remains the leader of the U.S., there will be a number of changes to his supporting staff.  Its even rumored that Colin Powell will step out of the game.  Afghanistan has a new leader, and Iraq will supposedly have a leader of their choosing by February.

The globe just seems to be politically volatile right this minute.  Now is a particularly good time to pray fervently for our nation and our leaders.  So much is going on.  So much is at stake.
