Last night I was at home & my sister brought my three year old neice over. She's the one in my default picture. I was in the kitchen fixing my dinner when she walked up to me & handed me a blank piece of paper & said "Happy Birfday Weesy" (Weesy = Lindsey). My dad walked in right behind her & said "Yeah, Happy Birthday." & handed me a box of fruit loops off of the top of the refridgerator, then started laughing.
I laughed, and then started to wonder, where do kids get what's in their imagination? What are they thinking half of the time when they're talking to themselves, playing with their dolls & their play kitchens? I'd love to be inside the mind of a child for a day. I'd love to be able to understand their innocense.
I guess, though, that that's a part of growing up. You lose your innocense to gain knowledge. And while gaining knowledge you gain other virtues that God wants us to have.
