| I'm BackI am back to my temple, my sanctuary, and my confessional booth.
I can't believe I haven't updated in FIVE months. GOODNESS. It has been an incredible 5 months to say the least.
Japan... Christmas... Year-end Events... New Year's Events... Weddings!!! and most recently: HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!
My first trip to Hawaii... with the best accommodations EVER. I mean, EEEEVVVVERRR. I don't know how I am going to be satisfied with any less service when I go back to Hawaii... or on vacation ANYWHERE. Geez. It was THAT great...
First, our group arrived at the airport and what do you know? we got LEI'd teeheeheee (Oh man, I love that expression).
<<ok grown up talk>>
So we had a pretty jam-packed schedule in Hawaii too but it was worth every minute.. The shaved ice, the midnight grocery runs, the sleepless nights of gift-wrapping, Diamond Head, bathroom walk-ins, Lychee Sake!!, midnight chili-and-rice runs, old men at 18+ clubs, running through the rabbit-holes at the Dole plantation, spontaneous whale-watching, being on local news!!, chocolate making, bargaining at the swap-meet, "wind tunnels", meeting all of the courts, card key problems, it goes on.....
The Hospitality staff was SO amazing. It seriously brings tears to my eyes thinking back on the love and attention and care they showered us with. Each and every one of them were so different and yet all of them were so loving and sweet and FUN!
The most memorable night was our Sunset on the Beach picnic.
Kahlua Pork + Lau Lau + Handmade Mochi + Beach + Sunset = PERFECTION
ALOHA~!!!

| Wise men say...In college I once took a class about "Asian AnchorMEN" (or the lack thereof). I find it interesting because I've notice more and more multiracial newscasters in Japan. I honestly dont know the population of multi-ethnic people in Japan, but there is a pretty decent amount of multiracial celebrities in Japan. There are, of course those non-Japanese people on TV too who speak PERFECT Japanese. If you weren't paying attention you'd totally think it was a Japanese guy speaking but nope.. you turn to find a Greco-Roman bust looking guy reading the night's sports headline. (Like I am right now... MAN he's pretty) Anyway, I don't really have a point here... My uncle asked if I had a blog and I said yes and showed him this link and realized that I hadn't updated in a really long time.
Man... I'm tired. Check out my schedule up until today: 10/7 - Depart LAX 10/8 - Arrive Narita 10/9 - Sight seeing in Tokyo Tokyo Tower => Imperial Palace => Asakusa 10/10 - Tokyo Disney Sea 10/11 - Visitation, Shopping in Shibuya, Saki's Birthday Dinner in Roppongi 10/12 - Tokyo => Nagoya, Dinner & Karaoke 10/13 - Nagoya Festival Parade, Dinner & Karaoke 10/14 - Sightseeing at Nagoya Castle, Nagoya Sister City Festival Parade, Reception 10/15 - Nagoya => Gero Hot Springs!!!, Dinner & Karaoke 10/16 - Gero =. Nagoya => Osaka, Dinner in Osaka 10/17 - Osaka => Hiroshima, Hiroshima Memorial 10/18 - Sightseeing at Miyajima, Hiroshima => Shin-Yokohama [HOME!!!] 10/19 - ohakamairi, Shopping!!!
Sorry, I wish I had pics to show too but I dont. :P They might be up later.... hehe Ok, time to pass out. night night. | | |
| Life is...a great big mess.
I need an assistant or a secretary to keep my life in order and make sure I'm on top of my shit.
otherwise
I need an agent or a manager or a team like Britney's camp to take care, pamper, pick up controlled substances and party with me. Yeah.
WANTED: Personal assistant to manage schedule, pick up dry-cleaning and coffee and other substance, drive to and from work, lessons and other events, contact sponsors/ friends/coworkers, manage finances and accounts, and all other task as requested.
And Takashi Murakami still kicks ass.
