| Holy crap it's been a long time since I updated this. A lot of stuff has happened since then. I don't really know what but it has. So I'm watching the news last night and they're tearing down a 124 year old school in Steelton to build a new one. On the news they had this lady that graduated in the 60's or 70's and she was really pissed off because to build the new school they had to cut down this oak tree that her and her friends would sit under back in the day. She thinks they shouldn't build a new school due to that. People wonder why the US is falling behind in education. I think I figured it out. Educating the children is many times more important than a tree you tripped on acid under. Let's see, what else has happened... Oh yeah, The Dick (Vice President) shot a guy in the face Fortunatly the guy who he shot apologized to him and his family for the problems he caused by getting shot in the face. That's when you know you're successful, when people apologize for getting in the way of your gun. It is not known yet whether The Dick has accepted his apology. What has happened in my life you ask? Oh, not too much, just chillin', going to school and stuff. If anyone wants to write a paper on Leonardo DaVinci for me feel free. It need to be 5 pages, MLA format, with some in-text citations. If you need to borrow a book about him let me know. If you can have it to me by the end of March that would be perfect. Well that's about all. Later. | | |
| Fair and Balanced my ass! So I'm watching Fox News about 10 minutes ago about the NYC subway and bus strike, which I've seen earlier in the day on CNN. The difference is Faux News has the headline "Capitalism held Hostage!" (I did not add the exclamation mark.) I don't care what your personal feelings are about this strike but the news is supposed to report on it, not tell me what they think. I understand that it sucks for a lot of people because they can't get around but it is a right of workers to strike, just because these workers are more important to the infrastructure of an entire city than factory workers it doesn't take away their right to strike. Also people complaining that they're hurting the economy and everything obviously aren't aware of what a strike is. A strike is supposed to hurt the company/city/etc.. so that the union can get what they want. If they were just doing it for fun they'd strike from 12am-4am on weekends only but what would that accomplish. I'm not saying I think a strike is 100% justified but it is their right as workers and if the city really needs them they'll give them what they want, if they don't need them they can fire all of them, they are under no obligation to keep them as employees at this point. Well that is all my bitching for today. | | |
| OK, I looked at that myspace thing, it sucks, there's ads everywhere, why should I make a page there? Also people I like use Xanga, on myspace there's a bunch of people I don't like. | | |
