Went out to Camp Ripley today for the begining of the weekend bowhunt (say more deer today then i have in all the times i went hunting) Had a doe come with in about 10 yards of me but couldnt shoot because of the brush : (

Then we decided it would be funny to confuse the heck out of a fork buck while we drove by then stopped and everyone started to use there grunts (dad,chris,dave) and the poor things ears were twitchin and he was lookin around to try and find out what the heck was makin all the noise.

Then around 1:00 pm we all took a nap till 4 then went back out. I say another doe but she was to far away to shoot.

it's to bad you didn't at least get the opportunity to shoot! At least you did see a few, would have been very boring to sit there and see nothing.

I must confess that I really don't understand the thrill of hunting, but I'm VERY glad that you enjoy it. I hope you get a deer - or 7 - or 50, because I really, really, really hate "hunting" them with my vehicle.
