Q: What is it about prayer that Drives Michael to pray more?

A: Prayer is a addiction only until you understand it is essential.

Why: I’ll have to pray about it, just kidding. Prayer is like music in the sense that if you listen enough and develop an appreciation towards music. You want to listen constantly, or whenever you have a spare moment or even while you are doing one or multiple other things. In music, sometimes you sing, sometimes or rather most of the time is spent listening. In prayer it is the same, Sometimes you speak towards God for things you want to see accomplished in your or others lives, but most of the time God wants to speak to you in matters of his heart so that you can intercede for the things or people on his heart. Most people if the spent as much time listening to God as they do listening to music, their prayer life and life in general will increase in glory and delight unto the father. Just like everyone likes different kinds of music, no one dislikes music. The same is true about prayer; People may enjoy or “like” different types of prayer more than another but no one dislikes prayer if properly educated to the different facets of prayer. There is some form of music, some aspect about it that just grabs their senses and pulls them to listen more and the same is true about prayer. The point still remains, that they enjoy music whether or not they are aware to it; they were built to enjoy it. Keeping that in mind, God built us to pray, to commune with him, to know him, no matter which way or form prayer is expressed. It’s like a drug, addicting to the senses, there’s something about music and prayer that “moves” the senses. People see prayer as an addiction only because they don’t understand that it is essential to the body and life thereof.
