| Speed! This blog is about speed. Plain, simple, pure speed. No, not the drug
that keeps you up and going. I'm talking about the adreniline rush
inducing speed from a suped-up, road grabbin' machine.
From
Mustangs to MOPARs, Cobras to Goats, that's what I'm talkin' about
Whillis! A car may be a car, but what it can do on a flat open road
makes the difference. Many years ago, the American government and its
citizens came to realize the beauty of this nation. Thousands were
given the chance to hop in their cars, drag along family and friends,
and see the great American country from coast to coast. This dream road
was called Route 66. It still exists today, but it's luster has died
out over the ages. Smaller engines and higher gas prices has slowly
suffocated this amazing stip of pavement.
After thinking the
past few days, I realized I had a dream: To rebuild a classic muscle
car and race accross the U.S. A silly dream, but one that holds close
to my heart.
You can call it a weird wish, but it's simple in
essence. I just need a car, gas money, some food money, and the clothes
on my back. To see a lot of this country that I haven't seen before.
Feel the open road, breathe in different air from state to state. Most
of all, hear the roar as I throttle the engine even further.
I
know speeding is a problem of mine, but its when I feel most alive.
From 0-80 I feel a bit happier, from 80-100, I'm gettin' closer to that
feeling, and once I hit past 150, I'll probably feel truly alive. Not
just some human being wondering around. "I wanna go fast". That's my moto behind the wheel.
The Salt Flats would be one badass vacation for me :D
I'll do this people, high gas prices or not, I'll do it. Mark my words.
Now, two problems: How the fuck do I build a car? AND HOW CAN I GET MONEY TO GET A CAR?! | | |
| ...'ello insanity. It's been a while :D I sure missed you, misguided thoughts with incomplete rantings attached.
Such a lovely way to spend your evening, floating along a contemplative whirlpool ^_^. Ya never know what you just might find amidst the misty memories. Nights like these help me remember why I love humanity in all of its horrible failures and shortcomings.
I personally believe that human brain should never be augmented for any reason other than rehabilitation of those with disabilities. Have you ever thought of why someone picked the name Volvo or even Subaru as the name for a car manufacturer? It seems a bit odd.... I felt like typing a blog, with some grand ol' meaning, a message. Update on how my life is doing. What I'm working towards and some new goals. FUCK THAT. Mono came along and screwed up EVERYTHING. Gah. I just checked my bank account: $1.39 WOOOOT God, I'm glad I'm working again. Fuck you mononucleosis and you too Mister Epstein-Barr. Just up and waltz into my life, change EVERYTHING you felt like, and then make me sleep it all away. Goodbye money!
Ya know, vehicular transportation shall remain a dream of mine for some time now. Until that apparition finally materializes into bills and Quik Trip runs, I shall keep up my cerebral cognative ability of imagination flowing away.
Yep, UP YOURS OLD POST MAN! I'm making a new style, it's called, I don't give a shit. By the way, Deadpool is fucking badass. Not even the TASKMASTER can touch him.

| I finally got a job elsewhere, so I left Pronto. I kind of miss it. I work at Wal-Mart now! I'm an Unloader. I actually like my job, plus my crew.
What really sucks: I got MONO 5 days after starting at Wal-Mart. I've been off work just over a week now. I'll probably miss another week. I feel so bad, but it's nothing I couldn't fix.
The fan next to my bed died last night. I actually was sad. I'm gonna take it apart and see if I can't save it. I already bought another one, but still. If I could have another fan! ^_^ Fans are good for soul, plus your room temperature.
Since I've been bed ridden, I've noticed how much sunlight my room actually receives (well, would if it wasn't for the blanket blocking my window). I thought of a brilliant idea that would save Mum money, and get me money! SOLAR POWER! My room window is HUGE. From about sunrise to about 14.00 (2PM), on average, the sun hits my window. That's a ton of power I could be using that way, and then store some for night use. That would cut a ton of money of the electric bill. Think if we had solar panels for each room! That's A LOT of money saved right there. I mean a lot.
Oh well, it takes money to save money. I need a car still.

| Rough DraftI spent a lot of time trying to figuring things out. Last year finally sank in, and it's a bit weird to realize how much went on, went down. I couldn't sleep the past two days, for I had to much on my mind. Last year was very interesting on many aspects: 1. I graduated. 2. I had one of the best times of my life 3. I had my heard shattered, repaired, splintered, and then omitted from my neural network. 4. I lost myself and found a different me, I hope a good me. 5. I have a completely revised definition of the word "friend". 6. I actually had A JOB(S). 7. I have an iPhone! 8. I had a car. 9. I lost that car.
A lot happened, and now I realize it was for the better, in some aspects. I miss having a car. I need a better job. I miss school....I miss the way things were, but at at the same time I'm very happy with the way things are. I'm afraid of what this year still has to offer me.
Also, during these two days, I've made a few goals for myself to stick to for the rest of this year. 1. Lose 30-40 lbs. 2. Get back into shape (I'm talking when picking up a 100 lbs in each hand was nothing) 3. Run a whole mile, nonstop. That will be amazing, I can barely handle two blocks. 4. Study for my ACT/SAT and take them this fall. 5. Get a car, pay it off, and not have it try and fly. 6. Take a vacation 7. Get my passport 8. Save for Germany 9. PROFIT
I still am conflicted about Armed Forces. A HUGE part of me wants to go. Beyond the psyichal aspect, I know it's something I would love. I want to join, but I don't want to leave so many behind. So, after a two hour conversation, Mum and I came to a conclusion: I will take courses either this semester, or next and see if I want to stay in school; If I still want to join the Armed Forces, then I shall do so the summer of 2009/2010. I know I've promised many I wont go, but it's hard to hold that promise intact.
I'll figure it all out eventually. But, ugh, I still hate waiting.

| It's sure been a while, again, since my last post. So, I'm still at Pronto, but not for much longer. I plan on leaving in two weeks, even if I don't have a job at that exact moment. I'm working on getting a job at TruGreen with my Uncle Phil. I would be out in the "field" treating lawns and whatnot. GOOD money, only drawbacks: Working in the sun, 0700-1700 shifts >_>. But, if I get the job, it will help me out in the long run for college and moving out on my own. If I get this job, I'll be trying to get my own place in 6 months, for that's when my family is most likely going to be moving into a house as well. I may decide against it, but I feel like it's a good time to try living on my own.
I randomly found a 700 meg folder filled with techno. I think it's from Chris who had this computer before I did. I'm still looking for a car. I have about 800$ at the moment. -sigh- Iron Man was AMAZING. Go see it. Seriously, go now. That's all really..... By the way, Doctor Who is one of the best TV shows right now, with David Tennant as "The Doctor". Seriously, WATCH IT.
