I would like you all to meet this lovely young lady.

Her name is QUIN. She is one of my dearest friends from way back. Nagkakilala
kami noong elementary.. we're classmates..parehong sa A-section [ehem]. We're
not particularly close noong umpisa but nang maghigh-school na ay nag-start yung
friendship namin.

+ Barkada kami, kasama ng iba pang kaklase.
+ Tulungan kapag exams [i would not lie.. i did cheat in high school]
+ Ligo sa beaches.
+ Punta kami sa bahay ng barkada and we'll try to cook some snacks..
   [like sinulbot na saging.. turon.. pansit .. o kaya ay tinapay at coke]

We have always been there for each other -- kahit hanggang ngayon.

The one time that she's really been there for me was when I just came here sa
USA galing sa Pilipinas. I was broken-hearted noon, she knows about my
situation kaya naman every month or sometimes every 2 weeks eh lagi akong
makakarecieve ng LETTER galing sa kanya. That really meant A LOT para sa
akin. I got home-sick kasi kaya naman I miss everything -- relatives, friends,
special happenings.

Magastos din yun but she still did it. She didn't care about the cost of the stamp
or how much she pays for greeting cards. And she took the time to actually
write to me. Telling me how everything is going back there. I was TOUCHED!

Distance & separation didn't ruin our friendship.. mas lalo pa ngang tumibay.
Napatunayan ko talaga that she will always be there for me kahit na malayo
kami sa isa't-isa.

I hope she knows how much i value her.. she probably does.

.. *sigh* I really should stop doing this "back and then gone again" post..
Can't seem to stay on track.. but I did miss posting here that's why I'm
here again..and of course, I miss you too ... this time, we'll try to
stay on track..ok, the theme?

.. i know, it kinda conflicts with my "NOT" being here most of the time.
lol  But actually.. the theme is not really about me. Yup! not me  
[yehey.. i'm off the hook] .. but it definitely have to do with special people
who at some point in my life had been there for me and always been there.

This is for THEM.. I know some won't be able to see or read what I
will be saying about them but, at least others (like you.. yes, you) will know
how I appreciate the impact they have in my life.



sometimes i feel not as blessed as others,
not as famous, not as rich...
but when i realized how people like you have been there for me...
i just whisper...what more could I ask for..?
