• At what age do you think a kid should be able to start dating?

  I think it's fine for middle-school kids to have a "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" at school who they invite to dinner at their house or to the movies with parents of one or the other. But to actually date-date, they should be at least fourteen or fifteen. Granted, they'd still need their parents to pick them up and drop them off at wherever they're going, but they're old enough to know what they should and shouldn't be doing, and what to do in the event that an emergency should arise.
