Wii and DS Lite are my biggest favorites right now. But, don't write me off as an ignorant fanboy! I love my PS2 and Xbox 360 as well! Expertise:I suppose I'm a great people person. I get along with just about everyone. Sometimes, people rub me the wrong way. Oh well. I know a lot about Nintendo, too. I love them. Occupation:Student/Retail Person Industry:Retail
My web browser froze while typing this entry and now I have to start all over. Good thing it wasn't too long or I would be throwing shit out the window right now. Anyway... so I stayed up all last night doing homework. And, by that I mean... I haven't gone to sleep. I pretty much finished everything though and Michelle helped speed the process by providing me with an awesome website that helped put together a works cited page pretty fast. I took a test today and I think I did okay on it. I suppose I'll find out later this week. Anyway... so after a long day of classes, I came home to see that my items from Play Asia had arrived.
Yes, now I have an angry Mr. Resetti looking at me all the time. He's probably telling me about how he was stuck in a box on his way here. He looks pretty pissed. And, Bowser is really special because when you order these mini Super Mario Galaxy figures, you don't get to choose which one you are gonna get. You just get a random one out of the set. I ordered last time and got Mario and Peach. This time I was given my favorite Nintendo character, Bowser! :D Score!
For years and years, there have been discussions of a live action DragonBall movie. Magazines and websites have assembled what they think should be the cast of a DragonBall movie. I was once a big fan of DragonBall, and even then... I thought... "No good DragonBall movie will ever be made." Well, of course... somebody at 20th Century Fox said, "Let's make a live action movie so we can have lots of money." I didn't think it would go anywhere though. I mean, look at Goku's hair. Would they really try to re-create something like that? Plus, everything else is rather absurd... and would only ever fit into an anime or manga. To translate it all into a live action movie... gah. Whatever. Perhaps some of you that are reading this never watched the show or read the manga, so here is what they are going to attempt to turn into a live action movie. I apologize for using the generic US opening but it was the best example I could find in terms of video footage.
The movie has been confirmed for a long time now through news, posters and pictures. Now, the trailer has come and this is what we get to not look forward to:
I think I might see this... just to see how bad it is. I'm sure it will make a lot of money because of kids and all. However, I'm pretty darn sure it's going to be horrible.
Today was not a hot day. It was rather gloomy. I like gloom. Haha. Anyway, there was a rather hot Saturday awhile ago and I created a short (and pointless) video. I kind of forgot to post it on Xanga so here it is:
I went to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight with three of my friends. We sat down at a table for half an hour before walking out because we never got a waitress. Not one person acknowledged that we were there. Many waitresses walked by our table and didn't even look at us. We opened up are menus and lifted them up so someone could see that we were interested in getting food. Matt even tried to get one's attention as she walked by, but that didn't help. We just got up and left. Took some of the thunder out of our night. Whatever.
A nice relaxing game, such as Animal Crossing. You can find this game on the Nintendo DS or the Nintendo GameCube. In November, there will be another version released on the Wii console. You can go fishing or catch some insects. If that ain't your style, then you could go searching for fossils. You know you would love to assemble a T-Rex skeleton in your house or have that owl put it together in the local museum. As you're searching for fossils, you may stumble upon some gyroids (but only after it rains). You can also pull weeds, send gifts to your friends, run errands for your lazy neighbors, water the flowers, and create some unique designs for clothing. And, last but not least: shopping. Buy furniture and lots of it to make your house look neat.
It's always hard for me to recommend this game to someone. You do a lot of chores, all while collecting things. It's fun in a unique way and very relaxing. You'll just have to experience it yourself. It is only stressful when you play for the first time in months and you find that your town is full of weeds.
