OK, it's been a while since I have posted and apparently I need to supply proof that I am still alive. Wow, life has been crazy hectic..but not bad. I am currently, once again unemployed...but only temporarily. By the end of the month I'll be starting my new job...which is not bartending!! Yay for me..lol. Jimmy is fine...still a permanent fixture on my couch and in my life...the on again off again wedding plans are um uh on hold? lol It's discussed...almost planned out...and once again life has a way of interfering..I guess deep down it's not hugely important to either one of us, so we don't press it. The kids are, well the kids. lol Dee- seventeen going on forty. We have been butting heads lately, I feel like all I do is make her cry, but she spends every waking moment up the most recent boyfriend's ass that you can't tell where he leaves off and she begins. She is still a wonderful kid, and the boyfriend is a nice guy..but it drives me crazy that she is off and running at his beck and call and she doesn't even see it. Scarlett- fifteen going on 45...lol...the problem child has settled down....somewhat. Therapy has helped our relationship more than I can even begin to describe, I actually have a friendship with this one now, and we enjoy being in each other's company. We still butt heads..still agree to disagree almost every day, but there are way more smiles and hugs than their used to be, and I may cringe at some of the things she tells me, but at least she tells me now...lol. Maggie-twelve going on thirteen. She has started those petulant looks that come along with being a teenager, and she slams doors and stomps on the floors harder than her sisters ever dreamed of. But she is still my girlie girl..still a hannah montana fan...until her sisters get their claws into her and drag her to the dark side where gangsta rap and ebonics seep into them, changing them from my sweet innocent children into hostile teenaged strangers...lol...im scared. Jack- just simple five...terrified to start kindergarten because his fifteen year old sister has him convinced he will be put in detention..he is no longer a baby and growing up so damn fast. Where does the time go? lol OK....so I'm grandma sitting this weekend...lol. Mom is down in cumberland with her friends taking a much needed weekend away. We rented and watched Enchanted...I laughed my ass off. I'm not sure grandma got it. She is doing fantastic..physically..Mini strokes have cause her mind to be a little muddled, but we has a surprise 80th birthday party for her last weekend, and I just thank God that she was around to celebrate it at all. :) So that's it in a nutshell. I'm doing good, the fam's still driving me a little nuts but I love them all. I'll update again when I have time, I'm gonna go poking around on some sites. Love ya all! Peace. |
