  • School has started.  I cannot believe it is already September!  Every year I forget what a crazy whirlwind the month of August is.  Its all fun stuff just fast.  I am loving the crisp weather.  That is one great thing about Ohio is the seasons...especially Fall.

Chris and I got to go to the Ohio State Buckeyes game yesterday.  So great!  We love the Buckeyes!!!  I'll post pictures soon.  We're heading over to my Mimi's tomorrow for a Labor Day picnic with the McCalls and my "adopted" USAFA brother and his girlfriend.

    We ARE back from Vacation!

Yes, we're back; I'm just bad at updating!  Nate's graduation was awesome!  The whole week went so well, and the four days of graduation flurry were so much fun!  Here are a couple pictures of the festivities...

Nate with his sis and bro-in law!

Chris and I at Trail Dust...they cut off your tie if you wear one! :)

My hubby the cowboy!  Horseback riding on the Academy.

    The family again!

Dad just commissioned Nate to a Second Lt. and we put on his bars.

    Ready for Graduation!

    Almost there...

Sorry that was so long, but a quick snapshot of all the fun!!!

I actually just got back Sunday from another trip to Colorado.  My mom and I had the privilege of speaking to a women's brunch at my parents church, The Gathering at Jackson Creek.  Such a fun, refreshing trip!  Life is good.  Work will pick up for Chris the next two weeks with groups coming in, and I'm just busy trying to get ready for the next school year.  Its going to be here before we know it!

  • Vacation starts today!!!  We leave in just a bit to fly to Colorado to celebrate my brother Nathan's graduation from the US Air Force Academy.  Oh, its going to be so fun, but well, my family always has a good time when we're all together.  And, we're so proud of Nate!  Here he is...

Anyway, not like I update a lot anyway, but I'll be off for a bit. :)

On a very sad note, this is my last day with my co-worker, Kelly.  Her last day is tomorrow.  She has been SO fun to work with this year, and I'm so excited for this new adventure they are about to start.  We're gonna miss you girl!  Thanks for making such an impact on all of this year!

About Me

  • I'm an '03 grad from CU. I used to call Colorado Springs home, and we would go back in a heartbeat! Besides doing event coordinating for the CU Career Services office, I also have a side job of wedding coordinating called Simplify. Married to a wonderful 2001 grad, Mr. Chris Hutchinson, in July 2004. We are still enjoying life in the cornfields, both working at CU. So, if your in town, stop in and say hi!
