| Hey, what, you wanna fight, punk? Ha, just kidding. Well, at least it was different from the traditional, "hey guys, what's up" introduction. My week was pretty weird, to say the least.
Marketing/Advertising: Lots of work. Nothing too useful yet. Everything in there is common sense. I want to make a friggin' advertisement.
Spanish I: Had a test on the chapter...I got a 92. Hah.
English: Watched an old version of the "Julius Caesar" movie. It was awesome. The guy who played Mark Antony (a very young Marlon Brando) emphasized like, every other word, though. The funny thing is that we have an in-class essay on Monday, and we have to compare the movie to the play...so I can rant about his acting as much as I please! Weee.
Algebra II: We got our quizzes back. I scored higher than Quinn. Ahahaha. Karen gets a skill point. And we took another quiz on Friday. It was either really really easy, or looked easy but had really tricky concepts that I was totally unaware of.
World History: We watched a movie about the Renaissance and how they used perspective and how Ptolemy's Atlas helped them with their gridding system. It was absolutely thrilling. I give it three thumbs up.
AP Chemistry: Mr. Birkenfeld just hammered us with homework. But as it turned out, we didn't have to turn it in on the supposed "due date". It was a good thing, though, because I didn't have time to finish one of the problem sets. It was one in the morning, and I just couldn't think anymore. I was counting how many problems I had left, and I tried counting by threes. "Three...six...nine...twelve...twelve...oh no...what comes after twelve!?" I knew right then and there that I had to go get some sleep. Haha. But we had a sub for two days, and hardly any of us did any work. Oh man, it was so cool. Katie and I were talking about dinosaurs, and then we remembered that the sub said, "If any of you guys are going to talk, it better be about chemistry". So I said, "What would happen if a Tyrannosaurus ate ammonia?" And then Katie said, "Then it would become more basic!" Hahahaha...wow, we sounded like nerds. It was great.
After School: My mom came into the computer room, and she was like, "Karen, what time are you supposed to meet Nadine at the theatre?" And I was like, "Six-thirty." And then she said, "KAREN! IT'S SIX-THIRTY NOW!!" Oh man, I totally flipped out. I ran to the car and I didn't even have my shoes on. I put them on inside the car. Muahaha. It was crazy! But I ended up being only ten minutes late...and when we went to get our tickets, the guy in front of us got the very last one!! So we decided to go the 9:50 show, and we just hung out at the mall until nine. Wooo that was fun. Waldenbooks is great. I still need to buy "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown. Gosh. Then Nadine's mom picked us up and we went back to the theatre. The movie (The Ring Two) was pretty darn good. Not traumatizing, though! ^________^ And the coolest part was when the main character (Rachael) went to a mental institution in Washington to find out information about...something. But that wasn't the cool part...it was the fact that it was a mental institution in SILVERDALE, WASHINGTON. That's flippin' ten minutes away from where I live! Haha!! And it was funny, because we were watching the movie IN SILVERDALE! People in the theatre were like, "WHOAAA!! THAT'S HERE!!!" ^_____________^ Yupyup. Fun day, man, fun day.
Hope your day rocked as well! See you later.
