I went ice skating for the first time yesterday! It was so much fun.

I have sooo many papers to write before the end of the semester...I should attend to that.

I'm going to the Dominican Republic for six weeks this summer. I'm thrilled.

...and me I'm in my bedroom drawing in my notebook cause my hand thinks I'm an artist but my heart knows I'm a poet ....

Yes, it has been a while. Here's the scoop from the past month:

Teaching went really well. There were good times, there were bad times...mostly good though. I was only threatened to be sued once. I'm back in Oklahoma, but I'll be leaving on Tuesday to go back East. I've just been workin' at Queenies this past week and I will be till I leave. Come visit, it brightens my day to see my friends .

Oh yes, and I'm also having a "my childhood is over!" crisis recently. This whole passage of time thing is taking its toll on me.

This summer is going by soo quickly! I've been so busy that I feel as if I just got back. I also have so much to do before I leave, I'm kinda stressed out, which isn't cool because it's summer. And- just to let everyone know...I leave July 4th to go back to the Bronx, so we better hang out before then, or else....we won't.

Also, today there were some really awesome clouds in the sky after the storm, it was amazing! I love storms so much. I wish we had more of them.

Well, I gotta go finishing making the cupcakes for Father's Day...adios!

So I'm back home in T-town. I'm workin at Queenies and the Queenlet until I go back to NY, so everyone better come visit me! I love being back at work and getting to see everyone I missed. It's so crazy to think that the seniors are graduating from Cascia on Friday. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was getting ready for my graduation. Tempus Fugit!!

Hmmm...Spring Weekend, the highlight of everyone's Fordham year, marked by drunkenness and debauchery by most, was not as terrible as I had predicted. Here's the rundown:

Friday: Ran the Rose Hill Rush 5K race with Meg in my best time ever, 23:07. Later that night we went to the PMT dance show in the city. It was pretty awesome, and I decided I wanted to see Pavan cook, go to the bathroom, and shower.

Saturday: My last SAT Prep class:( Went to the Third Eye Blind/Roots concert, and then to the Under the Tent Dance. It was all pretty cool. The dance was crazy though! I collapsed in bed afterward, I was so tired.

Sunday: Residential College Olympics: I got to wear a super dorky Hawaiian shirt. Then, later in the day, on the way to get smoothies, Dan and I discovered that the door to the clock tower in Keating was open. We climbed all the way to the top...very dark and creepy, but we finally did it! DF+MR 4/30/06.

All and all, the weekend was great! Just two more weeks of school left! Wow, has time flown by!

...i worry i won't see your face light up again...

songs bring me back to the past so easily. tonight at knight court i heard one song that reminded me of a huge phase in my life, and just now i am listening to another song which throws me right into the dramatic feelings of senior year. it's weird how these times and feelings feel so separate from me now, yet i still remember them so vividly. will i feel the same way about the things i am experiencing right now??

Spring Break was awesome, lots of good memories! Now it's back to the usual for me, the rest of the semester is going to be crazy busy, but there are some fun things planned too, so it's not all bad. I might being joining the rowing team again, but on a part time basis. I miss being out on the water, so it should be fun. It's sprint season too!

I feel really lucky that I have such awesome people in my life at college.
