| Not that I make decisions on the fly or anything......but I've decided to pack up my tent and move to another happy hunting ground. Being on two servers is making me crazy at the moment. Typepad hosts my food blog "A Fridge Full of Food...and nothing to eat" and I've been here at Xanga for my personal blog. I'm moving this blog over to Typepad. I like the way it's set up a little better and I think it's going to be easier to include all the things I want to do. Nothing else will change but the address....G's-Spot will now be located at www.afridgefulloffood.typepad.com/gsspot. A little long, I agree, but once you have it saved, you'll forget about it. You'll also be able to access G's-Spot from the food blog and vice versa. Glenna's Blogs: A Fridge Full of Food G's-Spot (new web address) See you there! | | |
| Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

| Truth or Bullshit?Remember when SoonerFan gave us those color tests and said that everyone sees themselves differently than others perceive them...in certain ways, of course. I took this quiz and loved that it said I've be a good writer butr I don't know that I see myself in the rest of it. What I see is all my screwed up relationships with family and friends...not this that seems to focus on them. But I do see that my relationships are extremely important to me and I will buy the line about idealizing relationships/people. I see that in myself big time. Whatcha think? "The Giver" Ha! Sounds like a Lifestyles for Women channel movie, starring Melissa Gilbert... ora bad Christmas novel. | You Are An ENFJ | The Giver
You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and usually succeed. Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections. Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down. You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine.
You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist. |

| Jordan Made Breakfast this Morning...Maybe I should have had kids just for the in-house slavery aspect. Kidding. Jordan volunteered to make breakfast this morning. Her choice was French Toast made from the leftover home-made bread from dinner last night. She did a great job and it was yummy!
And here is Sydney eating the breakfast that Jordan cooked for her:

| Ahhhhhhh..the house is quiet...shhhh...The nieces, Jordan and Sydney are spending a couple of days. I love having them here and they're old enough that they're not much work. Sydney is a little more because she's deaf so sometimes it takes repeating stuff a few times for her to be clued in, but hey, sounds like me most of the time! Here's a few pics. They cooked dinner for me tonight, meaning they assisted me in the kitchen: Jordan did the ribs, Sydney made the baked beans and mashed the potatoes:
You probably can't see it written on the cup, but the white cup on the right side of the table says "Brich's". Anyone old enough to even remember Brich's? Or in its former incantation, Jonathan's? Spent a lot of time there when we were all young and worked at University Plaza. It's a Panera Bread restaurant now. I miss Jonathan's. Brich's felt like a sell out at the time, but now they both seem equally like some piece of medieval history of this town. | | |
