| | Good morning. Today I read Psalm 142:5: "YOU are ALL I REALLY want in life." I thought: is THAT really true of me? It SHOULD be. Is it true of YOU? And I thought of all the things I've wanted in my life: past, present and future: to get married, have children, to have my children be godly and 'successful' ...travel abroad to Italy, France, Greece, etc...granite countertops and tile flooring in my kitchen [and baths]...good health, muscular/not flabby arms...an ipod, a housekeeper, a personal cook....and on and on it goes....What's on YOUR list? So in my heart, I body-checked my attitudes: I really want my heart and llife to mirror Ps 142:5: YOU ARE ALL I REALLY WANT IN LIFE. |
