Happy Birthday

It's Matt's 23rd Birthday, today, and I wanted to take a moment and say   
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATT!
the last few years that I've known him have been wonderful. Last year we celebrated his birthday together for the first time. We'd only been married from two months, and I had no idea what the future had in store. It's been an incredible time. Getting to know him, and falling more in love with him every day is such a blessing.

Matt, thank you for taking care of me, for loving me, for putting up with my quirks, and for working so hard to be the person you should be.

I love you, Darling.

I Got The World On A String:-)

    Hey its me again This week I want to comment on two movies that I saw and finish up mentioning a CD that I bought that is without a doubt on my must have list.

Spiderman III

   
I am proud to say that I was one of the crowds of people to make Spiderman an opening weekend record setter. It was well worth the free tickets that I used to go and see it. I sat there about 3 1/2 hours between getting there an hour early and sitting through a very long movie (that sure did not feel like it). Normally when the big heads decide to come up with a sequel to a smash hit in the movie industry they end up messing up but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this not only was Spiderman II great but III did not disappoint either. It was just the right mixture of action, dialogue and drama that made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience that leaves one waiting impatiently for number IV.

Man of the Year


    I know what you are all thinking, you saw what? Well I thought the movie looked funny and finally convinced Julie to watch it with me. I was very very surprised. Yes this movie does have some language and crudeness issues. However it was such a wonderfully accurate movie in how it portrayed modern politics and especially the politicians that play that now corrupt game. I found the movie very to the point and poignant. I hope every politician watches this movie and then takes a very very good look in the mirror. A word of caution though to those of you who think about seeing this movie it has some very strong negative content as I mentioned earlier (And please whatever you do *looks at Josh and Josiah* don't let Mom know I recommended it, she would never talk to me again)

    Finally a must must must have CD. Michael Buble came out with his new one last week. Wow what a composition of music. Its captivating, I dare you to listen to it and keep still at the same time. For the majority of the tracks you cannot help but have a smile on your face and a spring in our step. If you have not heard the tracks off this one you absolutely have to.

     Well thats all for now. I hope you are all having a great week. I pray that the Lord will be with you all and guide and protect you in all your endeavors.

Back In Action

            Hello again to anyone that is still out there and reading this. I am back and hopefully better then ever. As most of you probably know I got married last summer and so have taken an extended leave from the Xanga world, but hopefully I am now back at least on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

 

            I hope to cover multiple topics each time I post now ranging from politics, to the World of Entertainment to the Church to sports to whatever else I find amusing. After all ITS MY BLOG *angelic grin*

 

            Topics this week should include but are not limited to:

  1. Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.
  2. Roosie O and the BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG Mouth.
  3. The Elite 7 1/2.
  4. Pork, Pork, Pork and bring our troops home.
  5. The Mystery topic of the week.

Topic #1

Senator John McCain liberal republican from Arizona threw his hat into the ring recently to run for the highest office in the land. Now while I would love the rip the Senator apart for all his liberalness in disguise I actually want to touch on a point that I think maybe just maybe *shocker alert* he got right. Here is the way that the Drudge Report reported it:

South Carolina Wednesday morning.

The presidential hopeful spent 90 minutes talking to nearly 500 people who crammed into the Murrells Inlet VFW Hall.

At the campaign rally, McCain was asked if an attack on
Iran is in the works, the GEORGETOWN TIMES reports.

McCain began his answer by changing the words to a popular BEACH BOYS song.

?Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb
Iran,? he sang to the tune of Barbara Ann.

One McCain aide who attended the event said McCain was adding a little levity to the discussion and the crowd reacted with laughter.

McCain went on to discuss the seriousness of the issue, saying he supports the President, and he will not allow
Iran to destroy Israel.”

 

      John old chap, your on the right track here. I like your idea straight talk all the way sir. Its really kind of catchy you know my brother Jon and I work together and we sing it back and forth together all day. J

 

Topic #2

 

            This topic is one that I have found myself with a growing interest over ever since she got involved in that bomb throwing match with Donald Trump. Roosie O has tried for years to get herself to a large platform from where she in all her ……….. (fill in the blank) could be heard. She finally halfway got this when she joined the View now after an absolutely amazing year of saying some of the most outrageous and flat out dumb and ill informed things I have ever heard she has decided to leave the show possibly to go on to have here own show. Now don’t get me wrong I totally believe in free speech and if someone is willing to actually give her air time or she is rich enough to buy it then I would be the last person to try to stop her. But come on America I know that at least 90% of you are smarter then to sit there and listen to all this mumbo jumbo. Real quick examples. Roosie compares Radical Islam to “Radical Christianity” come on dear I sure did not see Billy Graham, R.C. Sproul or John Calvin flying planes into buildings killing countless people. How can we sit back and let her say this stuff? *shakes head*

 

Topic #3

 

            This week what I am calling the Elite 7 ½ met  in Brooke’s beautiful S.C. for a debate the point of which was not to make the big gaffe. It was for the most part a less the memorable event which was to be expected this early in the race for POWER. *said in deepest Johnny Cash voice* I just want to cover a couple of things I found interesting and then explain why 7 ½ for everyone other then Josh who has not already figured it out. (sorry guys he is just smart that way)

  1. John Edwards was asked who he most looked to for moral guidance. 1……………2…………..3…………4……….5………..6……….7…………8……….9……….10……..11…………12 That is how many seconds it took him to think up a bumbling stumbling answer. But my beautiful wife made a super point “Hey at least he did not say Dr. Phil or something” hehehe ahhhhhhh Julie soooooo wittyJ.
  2. All the Candidates were asked what their response would be if another terrorist attack happened. Amazingly Bill’s Hill said retaliation. Wow where did that come from? Pat Buchanan (a former presidential candidate) compared Bill’s Hill to Ronald Reagan and how he handled situations of a vaguely similar nature. Pat then went on to mention that Rush Limbaugh probably would not like it that he said that Rush however did not really take the bait.
