| | I have decided to start a 1-woman protest against PayPal, a company that processes payments for online auctions. At one time a couple of years ago I had an account with them and I couldn't remember the name, the password, or anything, so I started a new account. Tried to use my debit card to make a payment through this new account. Wouldn't let me because it was attached to another account. Tried to figure out my old information, ended up on a long distance phone call to the company to get the old account closed. In order to do that, they said I needed to send them copies of, among other things, my driver's license with my old address, and a utility bill with my old address. HELLO! WE MOVED A YEAR AGO!!!! I don't have the info they want. This isn't good enough for them, and she said if I don't log into my account myself I can't close the account. SO instead, I told the woman to shove off, and now I'm asking everyone else to tell them to shove off. DOWN WITH PAYPAL! |
