I have decided to start a 1-woman protest against PayPal, a company that processes payments for online auctions. At one time a couple of years ago I had an account with them and I couldn't remember the name, the password, or anything, so I started a new account. Tried to use my debit card to make a payment through this new account. Wouldn't let me because it was attached to another account. Tried to figure out my old information, ended up on a long distance phone call to the company to get the old account closed. In order to do that, they said I needed to send them copies of, among other things, my driver's license with my old address, and a utility bill with my old address. HELLO! WE MOVED A YEAR AGO!!!! I don't have the info they want. This isn't good enough for them, and she said if I don't log into my account myself I can't close the account. SO instead, I told the woman to shove off, and now I'm asking everyone else to tell them to shove off. DOWN WITH PAYPAL!

Took my boards this morning. Started at 8:35, the computer shut off at 9:25, after 85 questions. That is the minimum amount that it can ask, which either means I really stunk, or I did really well. I'm thinking it's the latter, but I have to wait until Thursday morning to log onto their sustem and find out. Oh, well. I guess I can wait (eek! I can't!)

This is the THIRD TIME I will be writing this blog because of the stupid servers on this site!

I take my nursing boards on Tuesday morning, so I wanted to ask everyone for their prayers that I do OK. I am sure I will pass, but I'm nervous. Thursday I can pay $7.95 to find out my results on the internet, otherwise I need to wait a few weeks to get results. I think that will be $ well spent (on my sanity!)

Well, that's my excitement for the week. I work the next three days so I won't be around much.

Well, today I was a TV star. A local television station was doing a story on the local nursing shortage and wanted to interview a newly graduated nurse to see why they got into nursing. Because I knew someone in PR she called me to see if I wanted to be interviewed. So, I went to work an hour early, got interviewed, and got videotaped assessing one of my patients. My shots ended up being part of the lead story on the 6 o'clock news. It was quite the experience, to say the least. Many of the shots they took of me were staged, and he had me doing a few things over again to make sure they got a good shot. Interesting experience to say the least.

Just call me "SUPERSTAR!"

I'm done with orientation on Friday, and I start working "on my own" Monday. In a way I'm excited and in a way I'm scared. I hope I do an OK job.

Matt and I are going to work on scrapbook pages tonight. I got sucked into this hobby, and I'm working on a scrapbook of the family. There's sure a lot of money that can be spent if you wanted, but I'm trying to be as economical as I can.

Mattdadd is working late tonight, poor guy. Hope he gets to come home and get some sleep.

Today was an ominous day: it snowed. Not the "let's go sledding" kind, just the "comes down as snow, lands as water" kind. Started while I was mowing the lawn one last time and raking the beginnings of the leaves. Mowing and Snowing. Yuck. Tonight's supposed to be 22 degrees here. Whoopee!

Tomorrow (if I'm awake enough, otherwise Friday), Mattdadd and I are getting signed affidavits notarized to request that the City of Fargo place Michael Clinton under arrest for Class B Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. Pray that he gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Maybe then I can feel at ease about the whole situation.
