Mark: Hey, why don't we just get down with each other's girlfriends?
Joe: NO! That's, like, the fourth time you've suggested that!
Mark: Oh come on! What's the big deal?
Joe: Well, A) I'm not letting you fuck my girlfriend, and B)... You dont even HAVE a girlfriend!

This month has exploded with the philosophy surrounding "couplehood"...I was casually browsing the facebook profiles of my close friends when it hit me how many of them are either 1) married .. 2) engaged to be married.. 3) with someone that they someday want to marry...

This, of course, gave me sufficient reason to browse through the profiles of "sometimes friends", which lead to "acquaintances", and before I knew it, I was cursing to myself at the number of complete strangers that were falling into this summer trap of marriage . . .

Now, the ultimate question I'm facing is..."Why exactly was I cursing these blissful creatures?"

 Envy? Pity?

Hmm... good question.  

Guys...are like feathers. Anytime you run straight in its direction, it will inevitably turn JUST out of your reach. Instead, you have to patiently coherce the feather down to your own level and into your loving arms (inspired by BGS)

And if the fucker flies away, well....then he wasn't the feather for you.
