Wow what a two weeks. I know what you're thinking-father of a newborn never gets any sleep. Actually Aderyn sleeping is the least of our worries. Seminary started up strong with gallons of work. In a week and a half I have written four papers, read one and a half books, numerous articles and done a few other assignments not to mention 16 hours of class spread over only three class periods. Wow.

It's just been one of those crazy weeks. I goofed with something in youth group on Wednesday. Last night Sam got 8 stitches running into a door at Game Night. Other than severe head injury last night was probably one of our best game nights yet. We had probably between 40-50 kids. Parker, Tim, John and Tim helped me lead music. My lesson worked pretty well. Other stuff is going very well too-we've got 32 people going to winter camp which is our biggest group for HS yet.

I love hard work. I thrive on spending my time and energy doing things that matter. It's just difficult when you have more things that matter than time to spend on them.

Manny and Aderyn are doing well. A few minutes ago Manny was chewing on my Ipod cord while helping me type a paper. Now he's crawling around on the floor with his grandfather. We went to the park this afternoon and rode the slides a bunch of times. He really likes the swings too.

Aderyn is still a slump. However she's a slump that weighs a pound more than last week.

Hey Everyone. Amy and the baby are doing well. Amy's doing much better as the anesthesia gets out of her system. It really makes her feel horrible. Of course it was preventing her from feeling the hole sawed halfway through her stomach as well so that kind of hurts. We walked to the lobby with Manny this morning and played while her sisters and mom and brother in law held the baby. By the way we've made our final descision for the name.... She will henceforth be called Aderyn Sage Baker. Pronounced Add-er-inn. We like it. Aderyn is a welsh name that means bird and Sage means wisdom. So she's a wise bird-like an owl. Here are some pictures of her.

A Okay!

Here's an extra of Manny.

It's a girl! We're not sure exactly which name we want yet but it's down to like three names shuffled around in various combinations. We know her first name will be Sage. She was born at 7:12 Thursday Jan. 5 and weighed 6 lb 13 oz. It was kind of a long delivery. Amy ended up getting a C-Section and is doing pretty well. Sage has tons of dark brown curly hair on her head. She's so cute.

Hopefully by this time tomorrow Baby 2 will be born! Amy is being induced tonight around 7:30 so hopefully sometime around noon tomorrow she'll be born. Pray!!!

Baby 2 is here!

Actually not really. Although she's closer to being born now than she has ever been before.
