While searching for my lighted garland (which Dave threw out this summer) I found some of my old
year books.  It's funny to look back at the things people said about you.  Here are some examples, enjoy! LOL

"You're a really sweet gal, I'm glad we're friends because you always seem to bring a smile to a person's
with your wild & crazy personality.  Good luck always (you'll need it!)  Christina"

"I had a great time at the end of the year party with you! You're really sweet but quite a butt!  Don't
EVER change!  Dawn"

"To a very nice girl that can be ignorant sometimes. Ha!  Monica"

"To a girl I've gotten to know pretty well over the years. I like ya anyway! Don't change a thing!  Matt"

"To a funny girl who likes to pick on me in chorus. Good luck with the guys (Dave)  Christine"

"Hey girl! It's been great having you sit next to me in chorus. You're a sweet girl & I wish you luck
I just heard you complain about your hair-something like you want it to grow faster, well, good
luck with that too!  Kim"

"To my favorite person, even if you want to do #5 with Dave but we both know you'll never do
#5 with Dave!  April"  (Just for the record, I DID do #5 with Dave! After we got married! LOL)

"You're a sweet girl who has the gift of not getting in trouble in Chemistry for flirting through the
window with Dave.  Of course if I had your smile I'd get away with everything too.  Don't ever
change!  John"

"To a real nice girl that will always get A's in math as long as I grade her paper.  Ricky" (He died in
a car accident a week before Christmas 6 years ago)

"To a crazy, cool chick that always makes me laugh.  TL"

"To a great gal that always brightens my day. Don't ever change! PS you still owe me $5!  Bryan"

"You're crazy. Thanks for picking on me. I loved it! Never change & always smile!  Jamie"

"You went through a lot this year sitting next to us guys! Especially Ricky! You deserve a metal.
Thanks for putting up with us & for being such a good sport. You're going to go far in life!  Lance"

"To my weird but cool friend who is always helping me cut down TL - he's such a cool dork! School
would suck without you two! Liz"

My FAVORITE ~ "My girl! Have a great summer with (I wonder who???) Good luck in all you do.
You'll go far in life. Love ya, Dave"

School's out today.  Oh yayness.  One of the kids just said "I can't believe it's already 10:00!"  I couldn't help but think "I can't believe it's ONLY 10:00!"  I'm ready to scream!  All this fighting is so old.  Luckily it'll be warm enough for them to go outside after lunch.  I'm kicking them O-U-T!

I'm not going deer hunting with Dave this year.  I missed the hunter's safety class last month.  Sheesh this year is getting away from me!  He's going out this weekend.  That's my time to go through the Christmas lights to check & replace all the bulbs.  Thanksgiving is coming in a few weeks & I put the tree up Thanksgiving night.  Last year I got smart & took care of the bad bulb problem by checking BEFORE I was ready to do the tree.  It worked out so much better!  This year I'm doing a theme tree.  I'm going with a Chiefs theme.  Shocker.  Now I just have to find some cheap red & gold balls to go with the Chiefs ornaments I already have.  My tree topper will be the Chiefs santa hat one of the kids gave me last year.  If I only had a tree skirt to match. :sigh:  LOL

Sheesh!  I forgot to update about General Mills.  I got a letter on Nov. 1.  It said I passed the 1st test & I go for the 2nd test on Nov. 15!!!!!  I'm one step closer!!!!  WooHoo!

I finally got my resume done.  That was a lot of work for a lot of "nothing."  But being the perfectionist that I am I had to make sure it was just right.

I have another update to add too!  I've reached my first weight loss goal!!!!!  I've lost 61 pounds!  That's like a small child! LOL  Now I'd like to lose another 20 or 30.  I say 20 to 30 because I'd LIKE to lose 30 but I think 20 is more reachable.  That would put me at 10 over the ideal weight but hey, I'd still be happy!

I'm beginning to understand how the people on Survivor feel at tribal counsel.  Every day I see the mailman walking up to my house & I get that nervous feeling that he's carrying a postcard from General Mills.  If I get a postcard that means I'm "voted" out of this job thing.  As in Survivor you don't want to see your name unless it's the final jury vote.

Today Dave volunteered to go to the box.  He carefully went through the mail 1 piece at a time while I patiently sat in the chair praying I didn't get a postcard.

I didn't get one.  One day closer.  13 more mail days until I know something.  Ugh!  I'm a mess!

I'm in a foul mood.  I made a whole $90.00 this week.   This afternoon I called parents that owed me.  Several didn't answer, one "wasn't in the office" & my favorite~ one slammed the phone on me mid sentence.  I guess she was a little ticked at me for turning her in to the state.  See, when you leave a daycare owing money the state stops paying for daycare until it's paid.  But they take away ALL assistance when they find out that you got married a month ago & didn't report it.  I warned her not to mess with me!  I don't bluff.  And I don't like people abusing the system.

I wish flaming crotch on them all.

I guess I didn't update about the job thing.  I had my test from hell for General Mills Wednesday.  I didn't do well.  I always thought aptitude tests consisted of more than train is to station as car is to garage & algebra/trig.  WHY would I need algebra or trig to work on an assembly line?  But I did it anyway.  I didn't finish the math part.  I had 20 minutes to do 25 problems.  I KNOW I sucked big time on that part!  I'm just hoping my application counteracted my math!  I've been working on my resume.  How do you make something out of nothing?  I've worked at Pizza Hut, a florist shop, an investment place, Miracle Ear, Burger King, 3 daycares & I've been self employed for the last 7 years.  I had to kind of work my answers around their questions like "What is your current employers policy on absences?"  Well, I'm pretty hard on myself! LOL  The last bit dealt with management at my current job~ was management easy to work with?  Did coworkers get along?  LOL

Dave's going hunting this weekend.  I'll be staying home to work on my resume, doing laundry, dishes & making a menu from things we have since going to the store is out until Dave gets paid.
