PLEASE! DON'T FIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR KIDS! Do you realize how harmful this is to them??? It is worse than if you completely lost your temper on them and yelled at them for 30 minutes!
Let me clarify that I do not mean they can never see a calm, adult argument. In fact, they should see the CORRECT way to handle problems and disagreements. But the yelling, the anger, the fighting because you're just plain pissed off - PLEASE do that when they can't see or hear you!
Now let's just pretend you realize that I'm getting my masters in counseling and that you trust that I have some idea of what I'm talking about. Ok? 
On another note - I continue to try to buy toys for Frannie that she CAN'T tear apart in two seconds! I got a (cheap) toy from Walmart last week and she literally had it torn to pieces within 30 minutes! She does this to all of them. So, I finally broke down and paid $12 for a "Mean Kitty" toy, which is a canvas type material that most dogs can't/won't tear apart. I just gave it to her and within 10 minutes she had a hole in one of the ears!!! It is hopeless. 
Well, I'm off to save Ethel from Frannie.
