| I just got back from an amazing month at camp. My girls were so wonderful. I had the second oldest cabin which for the two week session consisted of 14-15 year olds. It was so amazing to act like a jr. high girl again. They called me Counselor Megan which I simply loved. They told me several times how much they loved me, but really I loved being with them which made it easy to be their counselor. I could go on and on about camp and I am so ready to go back in two weeks. As of now I am just working back here at Harding. I am attending Uplift at night so I can see Brian and Meredith. It is a lot of fun so far. I am staying at my Grandma's house which is always a plus. I am also reading Blue Like Jazz. I really think this book has open some thought channels for me. The author has really brought out some points I haven't thought about for awhile. I pray that in these next two weeks I can rejuvinate my relationship with my God, and be able to go back to camp and influence these children. I miss everyone so much and love you all. Come back soon. | | |
| So I think I am going to start this up again since it is summertime. Right now I am still in Searcy and I am still taking classes. I am in Chemistry 215 during Intersession. Yeah it is rough. I literally study every free hour I have. But it will be over in one week from today and it will be worth it. I am really looking forward to Camp right now. I will start orientation the Tuesday after Intersession. So that is pretty much what is happening with me right now. I am living at my Granny's house while they are in Colorado, so if you want to stop by I will be there from 5:00 at night till 8:00 in the morning the next day. I miss everyone already. Have great summers. Love ya. | | |
| So I haven't really updated for awhile since I have facebook. But maybe I will really quick. Function was last week and was really fun. We played softball and just hung out at the ballfields all night. I took Corwin. We had fun even though he complained all night. I set Jess Custer up with Danny and that was really good. After we finished playing softball we went to college church and watched the sandlot. Good movie. Corwin had to leave early to go to a football meeting, but that was alright. After the movie Jess, Danny, and I hung out and took a special. We played at the Harding Academy playground. Then this week we had a meeting and voted on visitation girls. Then Tuesday night I had to go to an opera for Music Appreciation. It was 3 hours long!!!!!! I was so mad. Mary Ashley, Jess Merrill, and I blame all our problems on that opera. The next day we found out who made visitation and it was all good. Then Thursday we played football against Kojies. We pretty much won and I made some pretty good flag pulling plays. Now it is Friday and the World Mission Workshop is going on and that is pretty cool. I dressed Aubrey up tonight for her date with Corey. She was sooooo very pretty. Then I hung out with Danny, Tony, and Joelle. It was fun. Ok I am through with this entry. Have a great week. | | |
| I got an 83 on my chemistry test with a chance to bump it up to a 91. That is pretty good I guess and I am happy. | | |
| I am getting really bad at posting lately. Things have been busy. Last week some interesting things happened I guess. Monday night was our at large mixer and that was a lot of fun. We played games on the front lawn and then after it was through our pledge class jumped in the lily pond. That was really fun and adventurous. I thought that anytime a security guard was going to storm in and take us to Harding jail. Just kidding I didn't really think that we would go to Harding jail. Then the next night I went to see Gracia Burnam. She was really good and it makes me wonder how my faith would hold up in situations like that. Here in Searcy I have been so blessed to be surrounded by Christian influences. On the other hand it also makes it easy to stroll through the motions and think that you are doing everything right. Anyway back to my week. I was supposed to go to Dallas this weekend but Rita, as in the Hurricane, changed those plans. But the weekend was good anyway. I got to just hang out and have fun. So anyway this week a chemistry test is coming up and I should be studying for it right now, but of course I am not. So pray that I do well on that. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
