| so i am back in neenah for the weekend because i made a surprise visit to my dad for father's day. it was amazing. he was so confused and did not know what to do. i gave him a hug and she just stood there and wouldn't hug me back, and then i stepped back and he grabbed my shoulder and couldn't stop laughing. he was soooo confused. it was so great though. i love my dad sooooo much!
and i would just like for y'all to know that i had to wear a winter jacket, hat, and mittens tonight so i could stand outside and talk to my dear friend moose. that is just a far cry from the insane heat and humidity i am now used to in south carolina. it was ridiculous. this is just one of the many reasons why i hate wisconsin-actually the north in general!
as for my summer, it has definitley been the best 3 weeks of my life thus far. i would not want to be anywhere else. being home this weekend has been alright, but i can't wait to be back in north myrtle. God is doing AMAZING things!! if you could pray for the students and me and that the Lord would continue to work and use us that would be great!

| the big road trip begins tomorrow. i am meeting amelia near portage, wi, and we will be taking off from there and driving to cincinnati. then sunday morning we are waking up and driving to myrtle beach. its going to be a long couple of days. please pray for us and that we stay awake and alive! i'm so excited to be with her! its going to be great!
and as for the heart doctor.. i am officially clear. i just have to go back once a year to have an ekg to make sure i stay normal. :) thank you Jesus!
schmitz, brad, and liana-it was soooooo good to see you guys! it reminded me of ALL the great memories! i'll see you again in august! and brad... Jesus is so good! :) |
