| GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! I went to West Virginia this weekend to observe the First grade and Kindergarten classes at Faith, and am now even more excited about teaching there in the fall!  The woman who currently teaches first grade could not have been more kind and helpful. She gave me a disc of all of the important papers and documents that she has used this year that she thought would be helpful to me next year. She also let me look through all of the students textbooks and teacher manuals, so that I know how to plan for next year. As if that wasn't enough, she is also giving me ALL of her classroom supplies, decorations, bulletin board stuff....... EVERYTHING!!!! To say that I feel blessed would be a huge understatement, I am just so grateful to have all of this guiadance and help!!! The weekend in WV just continued to get better and better!!!! I was planning to look at apartments while I was there. Now, I had been bracing myself for the harsh reality that an apartment I would be able to afford would most likely be old and less than new as well as located in a not so nice section of town if you know what I mean! Well my friend Heather's mom who teaches Pre-K put an ad in the school's newsletter with a contact number, explaining that I was coming as a new teacher, and that I was in need of housing. Well, the very next day a woman whose three daughters attend the school called and said that she and her husband had just recently built a house with a basement apartment that they were looking to rent to someone they knew and could trust. Well I went to meet them and see the apartment on Saturday and I was blown away!!!! This family is so sweet and the apartment is BRAND SPANKIN' NEW and it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! As if that wasn't enough, they are giving me and INCREDIBLE deal on the rent which includes all of my utilities!!!!!!!! As I left their house I almost started crying because I was so overwhelmed with gratitude to God for providing me with such a nice and safe place to live that I could afford!!!!! Once again my Abba Father has gone exceedingly abundantly above all that I could ever ask or think, and I am forever grateful!!!! |
