For the first time.

I just wanted you guys to know that today, for the first time, I asked Christ into my life. It was a wonderful thing and I really felt like I was in the presense of the Lord this morning.

Thanks to all those who have kept me in their prayers. All I can say is thank you.

The Baby has arrived!!

Well, I might as well let you know that my Mom has had her baby. It was born on the 16th. It was funny cause the night before my sister prayed it would, "Plunge out" (her words hehe) and it came out in the wee hours in the morning...well...sorda.

My Dad woke me up at 3am to tell me that my Mom was in early labor and would soon be having her baby. It ended up coming at 4:34am. It was a baby girl, her name is Lydia Pearl. She's kinda cute if you call a red ball of fury cute. hehe. But really its weird cause she doesn't cry as much as all other kids did.

Zach, (my brother) came to see it later in the day and he brought his friend, holdup this is gonna take a minute, um...oh yeah, his name was Chuck or something like that. Haha. My Mom wasn't so excited cause we also had our friend and neighbor Mandy over, and my Mom doesn't like crowds when she doesn't have her makeup on. lol

For some reason Mandy wasn't too excited about holding Lydia. But we finally got Mandy to hold Lydia and then she didn't want to give her up.

I decided to call Lydia, Travis cause that's what I would have called it if she would have been a boy. I wanted it to be a boy cause I liked the name Travis and even though my parents didn't Steph and I were going to call it Travis. My Mom said it reminded her of a country singer, I'm assuming she was talking about Randy Travis, and so she didn't like it.

I wanted it to be named William Travis after the famous Texan since most of you know I'm originally from Texas and a huge history buff. But my Mom still didn't like it.

I've decided to call her Travis as a nickname. But I don't know how long it will last.

Anyway, I've got friends over so I'll ttyl,

There is a possible chance that my Mom will have her baby tonight. I warned my Brother before he came home bringing his friend Justin. He didn't sound alarmed at all which kinda confused me. hehe. When he got here he was completely surprised to hear that it was going to be a home birth. hehe. I thought for sure he knew it but I guess not. hehe

My sibling's amazing talents

We were waiting for my older brother to arrive at our house the other night. When we heard this horrid screaming coming from the bathroom. We rushed in there to find blood splatered all over the bathroom. On the walls, on the floor, on the sink, pretty much everywhere. Laura was standing in the middle of it and for some ODD reason my little brother Stuart was fleeing the scene of the crime.

Her finger was gushing out blood. How it got all over the wall was simply fascinating. Some of you might not find that as fascinating as I did but that's beside the point.

We found out later on that she was trying to get Stuart to cut a knot out of her hair. Well, he missed her hair and got the tip of her finger.

The funny thing about it was five minutes later, Zachary pulled up with his three friends. haha. I so should have left the blood all over the bathroom. Those two girls would have freaked. lol
