So I'm aroundish again... and I don't have much to say, except that half days can be such a fun fun experience. It's really wonderful and warm out so we walked to town and ate pizza outside and wandered about and enjoyed it... I feel so great now. Also, getting a large amount of jewelry free is nice and lucky-feeling, and I have a job sorta, and I'm planning my school art project thing, and not too much homework, and... just awesome. (And I'm reading a Neil Gaiman book, which is awesome too. Though not as awesome. And I saw the 300 in Boston, which was surprisingly not awesome at all, but it was nice to go to Boston anyway.) So... life is good. Well, until I get another test back, anyway.

So... Wednesday... best show EVER. Suburban Legends (), Westbound Trains (), Streetlight Manifesto (), Reel Big Fish (). Awesome. Though I need new sneakers. One of mine disappeared mysteriously after we went into the pit during Beer. I probably shouldn't have been surprised. -_- But seriously? Worth it, because I've never had that much fun at a show before ever ever ever.

And happy Black Friday!

School is about to start... one more day of freedom and it's over.  Meh. I find I missed my school friends more when school was still far away.

Well, I definitely haven't posted in a while, though I've read some of my subs, and it seems a lot of people have stopped posting, not just me. It's odd, I really don't feel like the internet is a big part of my life anymore but it's not like I've found much to replace it in terms of stuff to do when I'm bored.

I've had an okay summer... actually, it was very good, it's just that compared to all the other summers I've had it doesn't feel so great at all. Cape was mediocre despite the awesomeness of seeing everyone and being on the beach for hours every day and banana boating and biking and such, what used to be our big fun group sort of split into two and I was with mostly people I either do or can see anytime, so... not so exciting. Still, it's always great to relax a little and relaxation (maybe to the point of slight boredom) was definitely provided. Ponkopoag is always amazing but I didn't get to spend as much time there as usual and just about no one my age comes anymore - silly stupid people, think they're too old or mature for hanging out in the woods. We didn't end up going to Russia as we'd planned because my dad had to have some operations on his eye and we didn't know if he could fly after them. It's too bad because I really want to go. Maybe next summer. However, lack of trip to Russia opened up time for me to go to an awesome watercolor painting class at AIBoston, which was wonderful. I always feel like I'm not as good at painting as I should be.

I didn't see anyone from school except Cape people this whole summer pretty much, and I can't say I'm compaining... it's kind of a break. Nice. Also, I've discovered the total and all-encompassing awesomeness of the Garment District, esp. the Dollar a Pound pile. Amazing! So many clothes, so cheap. I got a big bag of clothes, some of which have very slight fixable defects but are completely awesome, for under 6 dollars today. Very exciting for a cheapskate like me. XD

Anyway, life is good, blah blah blah...

Soo... hey. I kinda haven't posted in a while, again, so... yes... hi. Anyway, I've been doing not so much lately, mostly schoolwork, so not much to write about, except that my whole wow-I'm-so-punctual-with-schoolwork-this-year thing got punctured cause I realized that I haven't really started (well... almost 1/40th done actually... umm) my project thing that was due last Wednesday. Oops. Also, I think I might be in C-range in science, which is really really really bad. I need to get a B at least, if I want to like... leave my house ever again.

Had a ridiculously fun immature sleepover on Saturday... haven't done that in so long, it was really fun. We saw V for Vendetta and then did silly fun second-grader things like playing piggledy-wiggledy (in case anyone reading this happens to be more, er, mature than a six-year-old and doesn't know what that is, it's when you turn off all the lights and put a sleeping bag over your head and self so only your feet stick out, and run around and knock each other over and such. erm. XD) and discussing why in dramatic diving moments in movies (diving off a ship to swim away from evil huge sharks, jumping off a high building, etc), they NEVER dive sideways. Yes. This is what we do in our spare time.

Picked courses for next year a little while ago, it was fun. I've got honors english (yay), hopefully honors math (I have to take a stupid test to get in, but if I don't, I'm in for another year of HORRIBLE EVIL BOREDOM), bio (didn't get into honors chem =/), more world history (yay! if my teacher this time doesn't grade so evilly anyway), spanish 2 (which, a, I'm gonna be sucking in cause I learned nothing this year, and b, ugh, gonna be with almost all current 8th graders. have to take 3 years of spanish though... just gonna take AP russian when I'm done with spanish, that'll rock. the class where you do nothing. ^.^), Media and Methods Minor (which is the level 2 art course - I didn't take level 1 but I really don't want to take intro, so asked the horribly add-ing teacher to let me take art 2... it took her about 25 minutes to get to me, during which I had to stand around awkwardly in the classroom, as she ran around looking for light bulbs and paintbrushes and emails and such, but she let me! =D), and fashion design (which I've wanted to do forever, though most of the girls who take it are horifically annoying and yuck). Whee!

Now that I'm done with classes stuff, other stuff (I feel so eloquent today)... been listening to loads and loads of Gogol Bordello. I love them muchly. Watching Lost & Veronica Mars, which THANK GOD is moving to tuesday nights so I don't have to keep flicking between the two shows. Might have gotten my part for this year's russian lit play - a good chance anyway, for a funny part that should be fun to do. Once again I have to be the silly girl, but I actually like this one. Possibly because we're doing Revizor/The Inspector General... funnest play ever. It's also our graduation though. We might get one more year, but no more plays. Bleh. We also finished War and Peace a while ago. Took long enough. Oh, and we're butchering - er, I mean, "abridging" - Romeo and Juliet at school. We had to cut up act 5 so it'd fit in 10 minutes. It sucks. Aaand I've just read over some of this entry and realized I have absolutely nothing to say, and didn't even when I started, so I should just stop now. Still, you know, proving I exist... and go online sometimes...

Edit: Wow, I capitalize too much. Also, it seems I missed my 1000th day of xanga. Oh dear. Well, happy 1006th day to me, anyway.
