Well, CES is over. I am the only DivXer still at the convention
center tonight, as I have a plane to catch in a few hours and this is
closer to the airport than Treasure Island, where everyone went to.
Contractors are literally ripping carpet out all around me, so "we
haven't much time" as Obi-Wan once said.
VIDEO: Pure Pwnage plays Wii Live at CES DivX booth
First things first: I just edited/uploaded an HD-quality video of
"Jeremy", "Kyle" and Gej (creator of DivX) playing Wii Tennis
against/with audience volunteers at our CES Stage6 booth. I was
technical director/director. That means I literally "call the shots"
during recording. Additional credits are at the end of the video.

Watch the Pwnerer and the Gej pwn n00bs!

I used the new Black Magic On-Air to record "Kyle" and "Jeremy"
in 1080i HD. Unfortunately for me, it still has alot of bugs.

"Kyle" (cutie!) ran back to our other computer to pull up
some episodes during the show. Being a responsible director,
I turned away from my virtual switcher to snap a photo...
The actual special show Pure Pwnage put on is still in
the editing process. I have to wait for my computer to ship back to San
Diego, so it will be a few more days. Unfortunately, I will have to
edit out the Pure Pwnage DVD Sneak Preview they screened. You'll just have to buy the DVD to see it. The bloopers were hilairous.
When I am back to work, I will also have our special
CES Stage6 episodes of Jet Set Show, Tikibar and more for you. That
will be over the course of next week when I'm back at the DivX office!
It has been such a pleasure meeting and having the
honor to work with all these terrific, creative people. I was thrilled
by how friendly, down-to-earth and collaborative most of them were. I
ran into a few snobs here and there, but for the most part, this
community of video podcasters and filmmakers has thoroughly impressed
me.
Marley, David and I have discussed creating a podcast
all about filmmaking. My experience at CES has encouraged me to really
consider it. Hmm, well we'll see.
DivX Works Hard and Plays Hard
Pics from our party last night.

Yours truly, the lovely "Lala" (Tikibar) and"Jeremy"
(Pure Pwnage) at club Tao in the Venetian.

"When it's time to party, we will always party hard!"
Tomorrow, I have the day off (thankfully). I plan to enjoy the San Diego sun at my home sweet home and put together another photo comic blog of pictures from Monday-Thursday of my DivX booth adventure.
