| APU here I come!I am now officially registered at Azusa Pacific University. Feels weird being a graduate student and all. Spring term starts in a few weeks. Gonna take some online classes first because i'm going to CHINA! Finally. Bought my ticket and set to leave Feb. 29. Gonna be gone for three weeks. In the meantime gotta make some money cuz grad school is expensive. Although I have never taken out loans before, I have trained myself to accept the concept of being in debt. I feel like it's all part of growing up. haha.
I also found out I have to take ANOTHER test. Frick. So i'll be gettin down and dirty with the good ol' U.S. Constitution pretty soon. Fun stuff.

| alright y'all, i FINALLY did it. i went to see a doctor about my foot. sorry for taking so long for those people who were concerned. i was fed up with self-diagnosing/treating and limping around for fricken 7 weeks. so, i searched around and found a podiatrist right down the street from me. i didn't have insurance so i prepared myself to fork up $60 for an office visit. anyways, had to wake up at the crack of dawn (9:45AM) for my appointment today. the doc was really cool. he felt my foot, then told me he wanted to take an x-ray to see what was wrong. i told him i didn't have insurance and i couldn't pay for expensive tests and the cool guy told me to go to his ontario office for a FREE x-ray. :) anyways, i got to see x-rays of myself for the first time which was also very cool. turns out that i fractured this teeny tiny cute little bone on the ball of my left foot called the "sesamoid" bone. it's like the size of a pea. you actually have two of them at the ball of each foot and i managed to break one during flag football. good sacrifice, right?
SO, now i know. no more guessing. it wasn't my navicular as i originally thought. oh and the outcome is that the fracture is too separated to actually fuse back together so i have to go through the rest of my life with this broken little bone and hopefully the inflammation will go down soon and i will be able to push off my left foot without pain. this is the scary part, because a lot of people with this fracture either have persistent long-term pain, especially when playing sports, or have surgery to take the bone out. both choices seem sucky to me. anyways, doc told me one more month of rest and then if the pain goes away i can play sports again! :) so i'm going to pray that the pain goes away because it still hurts even when i walk. please pray for my cute little sesamoid bone (or should i say bones)! moral of the story: don't play football. j/k. fricken get health insurance!!!!!!
