9th Grade: He saw her, the
girl that he loved, with her long, auburn, hair, blown through the
wind. She approached him. "I'm having a party, and my new boyfriend
will be there! Would you like to come?" He agreed to go, although he
knew he'd be hurt seeing them together.
Senior Year: It was the senior prom, and he still loved her
so. He had no date, and she had no date, so being the best friends that
they were, they agreed to go together as friends if they didn`t get a
date. At the end of the prom, she thanked him and briefly kissed him on
the cheek.
Her Wedding Day: He still loved her, but he knew it wasn't
happening anymore, now that she was getting married. He sat in the pew
and watched as they did their wedding vows. At the end of the mass, he
greeted her and she thanked him for coming. She hugged him ever so
slightly.
Her Funeral: Devestated, he went to her funeral to show
respect. She never knew how much I loved her! he thought. As he
listened to her eulogy, there was an entry from her diary from
the prom in it. It read, "I wish he knew how much I loved him. I wish
we could have went as more than just friends." He felt a tear trickle down his cheek as he thought, "Why didn`t I tell her?"
And so, this is what happens when you don`t tell someone how you feel for them. Who knows if they may love you back?
